And you go by the username Jutsu. Shall we continue saying things that are obvious, or do you want to switch games again? :3

I'm actually gonna get some sleep. If this is still a discussion when I'm conscious, then we can delve more into things.

Haha, Azure is black. Join in, guys.

Also, I think you're referring to the King James bible? Thats the most widely read English version. King Henry's bible is known as the Great Bible, but I don't know if thats even popular anymore.

It's ironic that it's called the great bible; It's one of the most terrible translations.

In my opinion, which probably doesn't count for much.

That said I gotta say that yeah, the king james version is still really popular in the USA.

I think the King James version is the most popular one in all English speaking nations.

the other day I passed by a place called the "apostolic church" and it really grinded my gears.

Like what even is that, a church dedicated specifically to adhering to the apostles? A Christian church?
The apostles said a ton of shit that apparently contradicted Christ, but they'll raise a special Church specifically dedicated to the religious quotes that ERNG!

You know what I mean?

The religious impulse is one that thrives on strangeness.

It's just that it makes no sense to me, but to help these people learn to give up their hatred I can't just explain things to them normally. You have to talk to these people from the perspective of their own religion, that's why I've taken it upon myself to start learning more about the subject.

The way I see it, Christianity doesn't truly condone condemning others.
I feel like after I read the bible and see a lot of its various translations that Christ genuinely wanted others to be forgiving and compassionate to each other. That's what I took away from the book.

That's pretty much what I believe as well, true compassion comes from accepting those regardless of label. Funny how history turned out, huh?

Well being religious rarely seems to have anything to do about the true essence of religion. People just want to feel like part of the tribe again like when we were cavemen. Thats why they can convince themselves that the most ridiculous things are true.
