View Profile Nice. I'm looking forward to seeing the Peanuts movie sometime soon as well.
I heard it was really lame, but the guy who told me is kind of a comics purist, so there definitely might've been a bias there.

Fuck yardsales. I went to Goodwill once and there's so much neat shit there. I found these old vintage TV's that haven't been made since the 1930's and shit. Found original vinyl for some artists. Cool shit there.

Savers has some good shit too like that. I got a neat lamp for 4 dollars that fits perfectly with the decor in my room. Nobody needs to know of it's origins...

View Profile Now, I'm not sure if you guys know this but I've been playing video games for my whole life. My earliest memories involve video games, I've spent years playing video games competitively.
So it should go without saying that I've seen some good play and some bad play when it comes to video games.
But heroes of the storm's quick match has shown me a new level of badness that I never thought existed. Quick match has shown me such staggering lack of skill that my hair tries to grow legs and jump off my scalp. I've questioned everything that's ever ran through my eyes and ears, because I was raised a skeptic, but I've never asked "HOW!?" as desperately and as sincerely as I have during quick match. Not even a mountain lions gaze chills my blood the way it's been by watching scrubs be so bad, so goddamn bad, that I can't even fucking believe it. Literally taken so aback, so flabbergasted by that it's not just ponderous but bordering on full on outer-fucking-body experience as my spirit attempts to eject from my body in shock and denial of how bad what I witnessed was in a futile attempt to reach the freakin' promised land early. To look on in horror as some inept fucktard squanders yet another massive hard fought lead, because of their inability to click a single button; or to wait a few seconds; or to stand in the giant glowing circle that encompasses the objective.
It's something else, it really is.
I suppose a debate could be made, that these gripes are unfair to apply to new players, or people new to these video games that would have no way of knowing these things and I agree. But that's even worse than them just being inept, useless cannon fodder, because then I'd have to ask why I a diamond level player, would be matched up with people that don't understand the basic aspects of the game.

View Profile Oh man, most of the yardsales here are just mom-to-mom shit or stuff that they couldn't sell online. Not worth much money. Thrift stores here are always thriving, though. 90% of my wardrobe is based on cheap used shit, because I can't convince myself to spend actual money on stuff I don't even like wearing.

View Profile Oh hey, you're still alive. Hello friend.
I used to go to yard sales all the time when I was younger, but now that I actually have money I no longer have the desire :p

View Profile I'm always alive. And yeah I never have actual physical cash on me, so I can never even purchase anything at them. I wish people still traded goods for services. I don't have much to offer but it's still easier than finding places that accept visa.

View Profile Yeah, dude. How's life been? I actually don't remember how things were going when you skedaddled last time.
And that's a good point. Carrying cash is just asking to lose it if I drop my wallet somewhere. Hard to imagine someone accepting a random stranger's services though :p

View Profile Life is okay, I'm still a manager in retail. Taking random college classes to see if anything interests me. Still with Drew, everything is good there too. Honestly my life is based around whichever anime ending I'm crying over the most, and meeting new friends. I'm leaving the house again now after a year hiatus. How about you, man? How's everything been? :3

View Profile Hai Fuckstick.
Gotta say I prefer cash myself, but I can see why people would like cards.
Seeing as how it's pretty much the most convenient thing of all time.
