Competitively, Reach was my favorite. Had significant host and spawning issues, but I felt it left the most up to the skill of the player. Halo 2 was just, ayyyyyy camping but endless rocket respawns is skill. I wish I was around when Halo Reach MLG was still going on. So many noobs back on Reach it's incredible. Thank you 343 you're my hero.

Now, I'm not sure if you guys know this but I've been playing video games for my whole life. My earliest memories involve video games, I've spent years playing video games competitively.

So it should go without saying that I've seen some good play and some bad play when it comes to video games.

But heroes of the storm's quick match has shown me a new level of badness that I never thought existed. Quick match has shown me such staggering lack of skill that my hair tries to grow legs and jump off my scalp. I've questioned everything that's ever ran through my eyes and ears, because I was raised a skeptic, but I've never asked "HOW!?" as desperately and as sincerely as I have during quick match. Not even a mountain lions gaze chills my blood the way it's been by watching scrubs be so bad, so goddamn bad, that I can't even fucking believe it. Literally taken so aback, so flabbergasted by that it's not just ponderous but bordering on full on outer-fucking-body experience as my spirit attempts to eject from my body in shock and denial of how bad what I witnessed was in a futile attempt to reach the freakin' promised land early. To look on in horror as some inept fucktard squanders yet another massive hard fought lead, because of their inability to click a single button; or to wait a few seconds; or to stand in the giant glowing circle that encompasses the objective.
It's something else, it really is.

I suppose a debate could be made, that these gripes are unfair to apply to new players, or people new to these video games that would have no way of knowing these things and I agree. But that's even worse than them just being inept, useless cannon fodder, because then I'd have to ask why I a diamond level player, would be matched up with people that don't understand the basic aspects of the game.

Well, I feel your pain. I see this in every other HotS match. BUT... we can do something about this. You see, if you queue up with a buddy, that's one less one slot open for the mentally challenged on your team, per buddy. In other words, let's party up bro. :I

You think you can describe its degree of "goodness" w/o spoilers for us?

I just watched it. Allow me...

They paid attention to the little details that hardcore SW fans would notice and love. For example, the crudeness of artificial crystals in Sith lightsabers vs. the perfect Jedi lightsabers. There's a lot of nods at the original trilogy.
The acting is fantastic throughout basically the whole cast, which is a nice break after the prequels' dogshite.
Everything about the movie is so freaking cool, from the worldbuilding to the technology to the characters and what they do. There are so many memorable characters, and the way everything worked was just awesome to me. The main villain with the weird crossblade lightsaber is such a good and complex character. If I wasn't avoiding spoilers I could go on for like half an hour about him.
The storytelling was great... but some things felt kind of cheap when it came to progressing the plot. This pales in comparison to how good everything else was, though.

I would watch it. 9.5/10 from me.

I was expecting horribly mediocre, but I got "good." and I'm fine with that. The dogfights were as sweet as I was hoping, so woo~
"Starwars shit" (Click to Show)

also, watching it in 3D was kinda bullshit...

I've never watched Star Wars. Should I just watch the original trilogy or should I watch all six?

I say, watch all six just so you have a decent understanding of the greater universe, and also because the plinket reviews on the prequels are pretty funny right after finishing its respective ep lol...

(but u REALLY dont have to)

Why would they say 7? I'm assuming the context is in preparation of this recent movie, so I don't think you'd count that one too?
