Being a moderator, can't you play around with post counts? Or is this an admin thing, which in this case Jeff can do it. Though he's been really not active here, and uses the dojo a lot more now.

I gave up my moderator position when I started going to college, thinking I'd become inactive as well.
This place became a lot more fun without any obligations or responsibilities, so I wound up becoming even more active. Admins probably have even more to do than moderators, so I bet it was a similar situation for zed.
but yeah, it's weird that people still have stuff like "Special Place for grieving the Absence of Zed the Great. *Sniffle* Good Luck in Life, man!" in their signatures. he's still here, lol

holy shit, I'm playing online blackjack and this just happened:
I'm on the bottom, dealer's on the top. for those of you who don't know, the goal is to get cards that add up to as close to 21 as possible. face cards are worth 10. you start with two cards, and you can choose to hit for another card, or stand if you don't want to risk it.
if your first two cards are of equal value, you can double your bet and split them into two different hands. my first two cards were king-jack, so I split them. the next card was another jack, so I split again. then I got ANOTHER king, but I wasn't going to push my luck any further. wound up getting 6 face cards in a row for three 20's, the dealer busts and I wound up tripling my original bet.
what are the odds?

You shoulda kept going, studies show 99% of the time people get out of the bet to early when if they go for one more play they can get huge returns
