But you did celebrate it without your mom? Or you just celebrate it with your dad?
How old are your brothers btw?

Also firecrackers are still going on, but just a few more are cracking. 2 hours just passed over and still some kids go hay lo with those.

Haha, apparently my mom just got late for the main celebration - well it wasn't a real celebration, we got no fireworks to be lighten and so on - just simple hugs from both of them and they said, "Happy New Year." That's all, no BBQs, no beverage time, only New Year greetings. My biggest lil' bro is entering his first year in junior high school (you can guess it by yourself) and the littlest one has 3 year difference with the other one.

Plus there's also some kind of party shows with attraction 3 houses from here and it's still up as well. Seems it'll still be there until around 2-3 a.m.

Any New Years Resolutions?

Be more diligent for doing my study at college, can manage my money and time even better, and do at least one artistic stuff per month. Hopefully.

why stop at celebrating new years?

why wait a whole year to let loose? why not celebrate every new month? "not everyone wants to party that much," you say? you don't need a crowd to celebrate!

celebrate every new day even! "but that's too much, we'll be far too busy," you say? can't you celebrate while going about your day?

hell, celebrate every new hour as it comes! am i going too far? or have you missed out on realizing whata miracle it is that every hour comes at all?

every minute, every second, every instant can be a celebration! the emergence of another infinitely small slice of time as it pertains to an infinitely vast space that goes on progressing linearly into other slices to create the illusion of time, like a single frame in an animation consisting of the entire universe.

every instant is a momentous occasion. why should the celebration inside of you ever stop?

I forget to celebrate. Holidays give me the time to remember.

I keep thinking you're Jutsu because of your avatar.

He argued it was I argued it wasn't. In the end he turned me lol

I was looking at programming as more of a mathematical and structural thing so I thought "that ain't no art", but because of the discussion I saw the error of my foolish ways

It comes down to what you personally define as art. So I am neither right or wrong.

I ask only that we criticize our own definitions of what the word 'art' entails.

Chinese restaurants in my street always light these "Chinese mats" or whatever for newyears, which is basically a roll of thousands of fire crackers next to eachother

So now my whole street is filled with smoke lol
