Isn't the minimum drinking age 18 in England?
I remember because I visited from the Netherlands when it was still 16 here and I was 17. We wanted to drink something after eating in a pub, so we asked a lady where we could get booze. She was a police officer. :(

The minimum age for alcohol is how old you have to be to buy it. I'm not sure about the laws for drinking it but it doesn't stop young'uns from guzzling it like its juice

According to this list, in Denmark the drinking age is 18, but you can buy it when you're 16. And in the Solomon Islands and Tonga there is no minimum age to buy alcohol but there is a drinking age.
I was more wondering where you would get that at a concert. Or maybe they are just a bit more strict over here.

If you're on private property you can be given alcohol so long as you're over five, I think.
