It's yet another game that combines a little programming knowledge (javascript). You play as a professor who must "hack" the game by coding it to win each level. Each level has its own API including a text editor and a compiler for all your programming needs.
Makes me think too hard. I like
this though.

View Profile Yeah in my personal opinion anti-depressants are just artificial happiness. I understand that sometimes depression is a result of an actual chemical imbalance in your body, but for a while now I've spoken with doctors myself about this sort of thing and they all keep saying that the age of prescription pills is slowly withering away, mainly because it's starting to become apparent that a lot of these solutions end up causing more long-term issues then they do short-term solutions.
Personally for me, if you haven't seen any of my whiny crybaby posts on here before, I tend to have dips myself. But these are always short because I like to invigorate myself with things like Scarecrow is suggesting. I enjoy going outside and taking in the fresh air. I love doing community service not because of any sort of volunteer hours but because I honestly enjoy helping the less fortunate and putting smiles on their faces. It more or less has to do with helping yourself find more of a purpose and role. Sometimes I like to think about the possibilities of the success and happiness I can achieve by pursuing my future (like being in a University as we speak), and how the only way I won't ever achieve those is by eventually giving up.
Also try meditation. Not because I do it, but because when I do it allows me to take a step back and evaluate my life and who I am as a clear and calm 2nd perspective and consciousness. It helps to be honest with yourself so that you know what it is you need to fix.

View Profile The best anti depressant is love. Conversely, love is usually a major contributor to the onset of depression.

..no, that's literally what depression is and that's what the medication attempts to fix
your experiences are reactions to specific aspects of your life that you're dissatisfied with, it's something everyone experiences at some point, but the fact that sunshine and positive thinking helps you overcome them has nothing to do with depression or anti-depressants. you're entitled to your opinion that anti-depressants only offer "artificial happiness" but you're delusional if you think your "dips" make you qualified to speak for everyone who literally cannot function without them. you might as well say insulin is just artificial happiness for diabetics.

View Profile Who here has actually experienced clinically verified depression. Share you thoughts on the whole ordeal. I am interested, as I may well experience it at one point in my life.

I had depressive symptoms for 6-8 months after a traumatic experience with hallucinogenics but I never saught a diagnosis, so I can't say for sure I've gone through it. But my girlfriend became depressed and started getting severe anxiety attacks about half a year into our relationship and I was pretty much the only support she had throughout all of it, so I've still experienced it on a very personal level. Someone else could probably answer your questions better than I could, but ask away if you're curious about anything.

I understand that the way I put this made it seem this way and I didn't really want to go into it so lemme just quickly specify what I meant. I myself went through a spiraling depression for about 18 months. I had therapy sessions and a lot of suggestions about jumping onto pills. I denied constantly with the belief that they wouldn't help. Also, there were many talks where I had spoken about how I have a fear of being dependent on something and not being in control of myself. These "dips" I speak of are more like relapses.
But enough about that. I'd like to find more out about what you just brought up.

Who am I kidding.
If he does post, I think it'll be in the SE part of the forum.
He tends to post more times there than anywhere.
There is of course the chance that I am wrong and its all with my short time here.Vorpal2Posts: 11,944

Seems like CJ is the real top lurker then. "hewdehew"
But thats a small amount even by lurker standards(as far as I know), seeing as he has 270(which is funny because there is a user called just that) posts in the period of nine years.
EDIT: two years for five posts? Now that I think about it, woah.

View Profile CJ doesn't really care about posting or forum activity. He posts when it is deemed necessary. He made stickpage and runs it behind the scenes.
