Aren't you fairly new Miracle? How are you so familiar with everything.

Because Miracle has seen it happen.

everytime after Naimad posts...
I look at his avatar and I NEVER see the green ball online!

I'm imagining him logging in, posting then logging off like a ninja...

It is possible to appear offline. I would tell you how, but I think you'll learn more by exploring on your own.

Well, that's up for you to decide. I was just trying to break the ice.

In other news, can't tell if this video is real. If it isn't it's really convincing.
The title is misleading though. it's more like the shark ignored his punk ass.

Either way he came very close to a painful, gruesome death.

So I just watched the whole smash bros 4 invitational. The most important match to watch as far as understanding the engine is the grand finals, as it's 1v1, 4 stock and no items. Meaning it gives you the purest display of the gameplay. Too bad it's Zero suit samus vs Kirby, while watching that match it's pretty clear ZSS essentially counters Kirby. But still they had a very close match.

This game seems to combine all the best elements of the previous three installments. It's got spacing like N64, in smash bros 64 spacing is everything and I was disappointed by the lazy spacing of melee and brawl "I know melee players will piss themselves with anger over what I just said". It's got speed like melee, the fastest of the smash bros games and seems to be on the same level as far as technical skill. And it's got the sick smash system from brawl, without all the mechanics that slap competitive players in the face.

Watching smash bros 4 gameplay was like watching brawl games as only me and my friends knew brawl.
I knew brawl could be all as amazing and intense as melee or smash 64, but no one was willing to give it a try on that level and since the engine in brawl clearly favors defensive play over offensive play people tend to play a campy/spamy style, because it was so much safer than attacking.

I think that the grand final kirby vs zero suit samus match showed that although attacking and having to close distances by being the aggressor is the more risky style, that the engine doesn't necessarily lean to offense or defense.
I'm very much looking forward to purchasing this game, twice.
