I was a huge fan of the original teen titans, so I couldn't really sit down and watch it without cringing every now and then. I didn't know adults actually enjoyed that sort of thing.

They do have some pretty good episodes and they are pretty hilarious sometimes. It does have some scenes that are pretty childishly unfunny.

Yeah, I mean, we could've probably done without the waffles song. But I wasn't expecting it to be the same as the older series, which if you go back through and rewatch you'll see can be just as cringy and childish in different ways.

I'm mostly happy to see old characters I love again.

I was so mad when Dora replaced him.

Dora and go Diego go are horrible.

OH NO! WE CAN'T CONTINUE ON DOWN THE RIVER! A SNAKE IS IN THE WAY!
Hello, I'm the silly singing lake snake! I wont let you go unless you sing the silly songs I sing!
OKAY! HELP ME SING AUDIENCE! WHY AM I ALWAYS EXCLAIMING?!

Or, we could stop teaching children to acquiesce to the bullshit of others and have Diego ignore the fucking snake and go anyways. Or teach kids something useful, like how to suck venom out of a nasty snake bite, due to disregarding a snakes warnings.

BUT NO! NO! WE GET THIS FUCKING BULLSHIT!

Fuck your goddamn tom foolery, where is the good shit? What ever happened to Tom and Jerry? Wily Coyote? Ren and Stimpy? The children of the world deserve to grow up on neurotic cartoon violence.

I grew up with dbz, that's as over the top and violent as you get.

That's not fair veir. He had a nanowrimo. But you can argue that so did Boomerang. Meh

the creators said they NEVER watched the original TT and thats why the show is done in that style

What the fuck? Then why make a gay-ass fucking animu about it?

Shit, that's insulting to the source material, man. I kind of liked TT, but it suffered from the same cancer that killed off every teen cartoon; it got too serious, and the stakes got raised really high, as since the show kept going because we liked it, it was really weird if it went back to being funny, since it felt out of place, and the show got stuck in this weird, overly serious spot.

Just to clarify, I meant that the creators of TT GO! never watched TT the show. I'm pretty sure the TT people read the comics which actually had serious shit on occasion. But TT in the first place wasn't really appealing to me. My favorite group has always been the JSA, Grant Morrison's Doom Patrol, and Shadowpact.

My only real complaint about TT in the comics is Raven. She keeps becoming evil for some reason. Always with the daddy issues. Even though its been resolved repeatedly.

I honestly like the show for bringing awareness to some of DC's obscure villains like Jynx and Gizmo, who in the comics are uhh...not what they appear to look like.

It's not "for some reason," Ravens dad is like the DC equivalent to satan, of course she has that whole good/evil struggle going on

We're talking about the comics and not the show right?

If you read it end to end, you'll see that Raven often just switches sides just because the plot demands it. Because if there was a struggle, then we would constantly see some background events leading up to that point. Nope, she's just evil again in the next chapter OMG SURPRISE TWIST.

I didn't know the term "Suck" would actually be a one way ticket to a bad insult.

Oh how the quality has degraded.
