View Profile Am I the only one, or did anyone else enjoy the modern warfare story as a whole?

View Profile CoD4 had a really good, simple story. MW2 was alright, and most of it went over my head. By MW3 I didn't really understand what was happening and why, and how it would come to this rather than diplomacy. I don't know why they had to resort to NYC for that "Big Battle" for some bullshit reasons when you could use Tehran, which is just as big, and use somewhat realistic reasons.
Challenge, find me a solid, global-domination game in which the battles play out like total war or something, in which I'm not just lining guys up to shoot at each other.

Valiant Hearts: The Great War is a good "war" game.

View Profile One of my favorite parts from HoI was how after every battle, you can look at the Regiments involved, then look at how many men died in each Battalion, or which company was hit the hardest. After several battles, you'll notice that a certain Battalion has been through several of your campaigns, and you feel connected to those veterans.
