Nah, I've never changed it. The unique thing about my nickname is that I've got no idea how I came up with it all those years back, because as I've mentioned before I've never used sss anywhere else and taking into consideration that I was ~13 when I first joined anything with Blood and xXx should've came to my mind first rather than sss.

actually now that I think about it I vaguely remember your name from way back when but I don't remember anything about you. I can't keep this shit straight anymore, way too many people have come and gone.

I actually don't remember much from my older days either, my English was really bad back then and since you guys were pretty harsh I remember typing long ass texts and then just deleting everything because I couldn't decide if my spelling and grammar and shit was correct or not, so I ended up not posting much, I guess that also shows in my post count. I also lurked the beginner thread for years before venturing out.

I also remember spending around a year in some other animating forum that was created and visited by like 20 spp members. No idea what it was all I know is that it had a black and red theme

yeah that was him. I can remember frankeh, zmobie, setmin, dudeman, BTB, paperclip, muttonhead, MoD, nicol3, tiddlywinks, HBZ, Limped, Ln3uq, Poutine Salad, FyFyRachmaninoff, JCamelo... there are tons I'm forgetting but that's the main group I remember from 2005-2007ish, maybe a little later.

I came up with Ashlander when my friend and I first played Diablo 1 online. We needed a screen name and couldn't figure one out because all the typical ones (like Executioner) were taken already. Then eventually I was like "ASHLANDER!" and my friend was like "COOL WHATS THAT FROM?!" "I dunno. I just came up with it."

Then I was playing Morrowind like a week later and it hit me like a rock.

I thought I was the only one. I seem to remember alot of other people getting on with him pretty good.

I actually kind of liked MoD. I was on hiatus when whatever drama involving him unfolded.

The only concrete memory I have of MoD was him saying he worked at Bungie around the time Halo 2 or 3 was coming out. I always assumed he was lying and kinda associate his name with a lying kid but most people seemed to get along with him.

Yeah, I know he was a liar. I don't remember hearing that one though. I think there was something about the pictures he was posting of himself not actually being him as well.

I thought he said he was in his early thirties or something, fuck if I remember. I've never been one to get to know people around here personally so I barely remember most of these people aside from their names. HBZ, Limped and Jutsu are the only exceptions. Oh and JCamelo but we mostly just talked animation, I inspired him in his early days and we worked together on an animation at least once. Good times.

That's pretty much how I am with the old guys from Power-Fusion. Remember lots of names, only a few personally though. Now that I think about it I still have Psyche and Toughluck on facebook I think.
