Oh my god Nish everything makes sense now.

You're talking about the Filipinos in the southern part of the country. Magellan landed somewhere in Mindanao I think, and that place is really close to Malaysia.

Like, those guys that are actually killing each other right now. I tend to forget that they're Filipinos, too.

Us superior Filipinos of the North have been influenced more by Spain than we've been by Indians I think, so that's why we're better looking and that's why I was confused.

I feel better now.

Religion, language, culture, demographics, many things.

Mostly religions,

The Americans and the Japanese also invaded Philippines, so we got something from them too.
Other than that, tradings had been happening.

Your racism is amusing. I can't disagree about the better looking part you're a fine example ;)

Also Nish it just happens that the racial integration of the Spanish and Filipinos was through colonisation.

Religion is a major influence, but I'm not sure the other factors pale in comparison as much as your implying.

That is true. I meant both terms are not synonymous because there have been colonies that resisted racial integration far more successfully.

Yeah, and Spain invaded the Philippines for awhile and that's one of the reasons why Filipino's are influenced by them.
Not entirely sure on that, but "invasion" wasn't the correct word. We got colonized and the conflicts we did have were civil wars or such.

Not exactly, I swear Magellan landed in Visayas (because island-y places were much easier to approach), namely the island of Lapu-Lapu.

Other tribe leader was "Explorer, deal with Lapu-Lapu so and I will reward you." And Magellan agreed since he has Might of Spanish Cannon, but when he fought it was low-tide and he got pwned.

Mindanao? They tried, the Spanish tried, all they ever got was a foothold in Zamboanga.

Your actions sparked a conversation about filipino history. It's too late.

Oh, yeah.

The Spanish tried invading Mindanao,
Tribes have been fighting for the territory,
Remembered Spanish using some of the tribes or something.

Not really sure, forgot.

You're the guy who believes in الله as your Lord and Saviour but just told Drone that you've been fapping to pictures of an underage cartoon child, yes?

He landed in Homonhom. You are correct about the Visayas, this was Eastern Visayas if I am to believe the book in front of me. He died in Mactan, as you know, against Lapu-Lapu.

What does disagreement have to do with this.
