My only internal problems at the moment are self-doubt and fear, mostly because I will be giving up a very prestigious, overpaying, high-flying job to start this up, and it runs the risk of feeling like a gamble. That's why I'm even rambling about it here (to make myself feel better) even though I'm just speaking gibberish as far as most of you are concerned lol.

Quitting a high-pay job to start your own business is a gamble indeed. At least you know what you're going to be doing and you're not blindly quitting. It's better to start happy than to start crappy (I just made that up on the spot :P)

That sounds like a title to a book. Start Happy, not Crappy : The Lamitrov Principles of Success.

I might actually end up soliciting work from Stickpage and paying people for it. Or not.

Start Happy, not Crappy: The Lamitrovian Principles of Success (Majority of things sound better with that "Vian" at the end of it, sometimes they don't sometimes they do)
Where you gonna find someone that'll have the enthusiasm?

Lol chances are I will only work with people here who I trust, especially after I literally proposed to THROW exposure at animators here and no one showed interest.

Besides, Exilement is one of the only people here who's work is actually worthy of mainstream attention.

I don't know what I really bring to the table. If you need work done in photoshop there isn't a lot I can't do with the program.

So if you need banners or some shit like that I guess that could be useful.
I don't really know what you have in mind.

I think you'd need to get an idea of what nish is doing in order to find some sort of way to assist him.

Well... Media Production in all forms is what I'll be doing. The problem with Photoshop is that a) I can do it b) There are professionals with experience working in the industry who can do it cheap for me. The problem with technical stuff like Photoshop, as opposed to something purely ethereal like music productions is that it can be copied relatively inexpensively.

But think outside the box. I'm sure anyone can help me with this, and get paid.

Example of out-of-the-box thinking. I might go to one of these stores that sell Videogames. I'll say, listen I'm starting a new company and a new Youtube Channel that is going to have a shitload of interesting content and a lot of subscribers soon. I'll tell him that I will pay someone a small retainer fee to upload Super Smash Bros videos along with commentary, and the game shop will pay me as long as I put their logo as the main sponsor in the beginning of each video.

However this is totally dependant on a shop that sells Super Smash Bros here agreeing to do it.

But yeah, think outside the box like that.

Well technically speaking, I have all the skills and knowledge to make a youtube show. This includes logo making and video editing.

I simply don't have a quality microphone or video capturing devices.
I've actually thought about doing it.
