Guys, stop talking about ice cream and talk about vegtables instead.
Japanese salad, anyone? :D
Seems I won't be eating ice cream for several days from now :c Throat's too itchy at the moment, though I won't be able to forget how tasty an ice cream cone is, especially choc-vanilla ones.
So, a few days ago, I made this. Initially, I figured it'd be an abomination against cooking and my taste buds would be destroyed by the wrath of the Culinary Gods.
But in fact, they were so pleased they blessed me by having it taste amazing.
Well, I made a fake Mornay sauce through heated almond soy milk, sharp cheddar, and various herbs; cooked some spaghetti in almond soy milk (giving it a nutty flavor but also creamy texture), and cooked some chicken breasts with honey and garlic pepper.
Afterwards, I diced the chicken, added it to the noodles, covered it in the sauce, baked it some more to marry the flavored and finish thickening the sauce a bit (as well as finish cooking the chicken), and boom. I resulted in a dish I can't even properly figure out what to call and my god was it addicting.
We had something similar that we call murtabak maggi. It is, in no way, in the same degree of your food but it looks so similar.
Tastes great too, if one knows how to cook it. It's pretty much instant noodles with it's seasoning dipped in eggs and other stuff (etc. chicken, vegetables) and then you fry it. Pretty simple.
