When im sleeping i just randomly realize I'm asleep and start lucid dreaming. It's so weird but cool at the same time. Am I learning how to pick up on clues that im dreaming or do I just lucid dream so much now that my subconcious doesnt even bother to pretend the dream is reality anymore? A few years ago I could have sworn some dreams really happened but now I can fall asleep and I know that im controlling the plot of the dream and can change anything i want

Typically, I don't mention shit like this but this is really infuriating.

I'm graduating next week and all my finals are this week, a fucking shooting threat isn't the kind of stress I need right now.

We've had multiple discussion here in the past on the subject. Like how to induce lucid dreams more often, how to REMAIN lucid for longer periods of time etc. Its a greatly enjoyable experience.

Works just fine for me. Just click "not right now" and it should work.

Yo Nish, it's going well. I'm still doing a lot of research on what buildings are actually where they are and why, and it's really difficult, haha.

Urban planning is actually extremely complicated and shit, but I actually enjoy doing it. I find myself going to a lot of business places and interesting architecture shits and taking notes. For example, without having to resort to my notes, I think I've set up city block to be about 120x120 meters, and split into 4 quadrants, that gives me 4 30x30 meter blocks to build different buildings on. It might be a little small, but it should work.

One of the ideas I'm kind of working around is seeing if I can build a modular city design system involving five echelons of density. Like, the first echelon would be farms and farmhouses, so instead of resorting to designing a huge map, I'd just design several dozen farmhouses, and when I design the greater city, I just use a brush to paint those farmhouses on the countryside.

For skyscrapers and shit, they'd be designed like puzzle pieces so that all their roadways would connect, and so that I can make the city as big and adaptive as I need it to be, without having to brick-by-brick every building as the city grows.

Not sure what I want to do with it, though. I've thought about stepping away from the shooter and more towards a turn-based strat game, and although those five echelons are totally compatible with that vision, I wouldn't have to detail the buildings to nearly the same caliber.

It's the difference between SimCity quality and Halo 2 Quality, which was my original goal.

I can't do both mind-blowing detail and large scale

all the buildings will be fully enterable and shit, with all the rooms planned, but I'm not going to sit there and model windowsills and doorhandles and shit lol
