That's a great idea.

It's not like it's a crime to not know an artist of a song involving Butt fuking.....

The song isn't about buttfucking, you'd know that if you'd listened to it.

But instead you're choosing to be a pleb.

The personal character I generally lean towards when I tell stories is "Sharp-tongued ranter", which is a persona I often adopt on Stickpage too.

I'm thinking of opening the set by talking about how I can't make eye contact with people for a long time, because of a series of misadventures in life. I will then proceed to narrate these misadventures, all of which end with the protagonist (me) making eye contact with another person and things taking a turn for the worse.

See the first time I thought I would go with a persona, but when you actually go up there it's a different story. I ended up winging it and doing pretty well. A lot of people bring up note pads with written jokes on them, but personally I think if you want to be good then you really should have your material memorized and be able to make jokes about something on the spot.

So go for it and see how you like it. It's not for everyone. People love self deprecating humor apparently, so if you really start sucking, go to making fun of yourself. I've seen a lot of people freeze up, and literally say "god i fucking suck at this, why do i suck" and have THAT get more laughs than their material.

Yeah I don't know if I'll be too genuine with the self-deprecating stuff. I'll have to find another fail safe.

I'd lower the percentage to about 45% because the world ain't that dense. You talking about popular music is a certain state or City?

The song isn't actually about sex, it refers to sex, but that's not what it's about.

Edit: Maybe you should ask yourself why you're so fixated on butt sex.

Right? That game was the fucking shit. You can still play it online too. I used to play tons of that with friends on my old computer. Good times.

I've got fond memories of the original Doom, Doom 2, Doom 64 and even the in my opinion underrated Doom 3.

Seemed like all the reviewers at the time mostly griped that Doom 3 was "too dark." I remember thinking to myself that it seems like such a petty gripe considering it's supposed to be spoopy.

These games set the gaddamn standard for boomsticks.
