I was pointing out that Kanga-B's responses make me cringe so hard that lurking has never been this good.

Because almost every time I see one being used, I legitimately find them entertaining but people always called them bad.
Is there an art form to this?
Or do I just have horrible taste in comedy on account of only being 15?

View Profile So I just got a chance to listen to Exile's new music. I'm mostly digging how the drum sounds got buried (wonder if this is the right term haha) at the beginning and the middle part of it then appear again and get buried again. Kinda reminds me with Bastion OST style even tho it has no relations with this due to the buried drum sounds. The starting part before the drum part kinda felt off to me but that's just from personal taste XD Overall, it's chill. 9/10 would repeat this over and over.

the two effects on the drums were a simple EQ to fade in/out the upper frequencies and a bitcrushing effect to make it sound dirty. never did anything like that before so I'm glad to hear good things about it

it's pretty cool I think. I feel like I'm starting to develop a unique style. still needs a bassline and a few other goodies but it's about 80% done, I came up with the concept two nights ago and put everything together with some live guitar just a few minutes ago.
