So, my Ethics class has been bringing up interesting points about Pokémon GO; namely, in the locations they pick for PokéStops and Gyms. How many here play it, and would any of you feel interested in talking about it?
I play it. Many people around my area are on it non stop (Catching pokes from the Morning to the Night). The game is what some of us wished to happen in years. Sure, its not what we wanted our child hood to be, but its close. You see a Gyarados in the crowd one sec, Next thing you know, A whole crowd is Around that area.
Poke stops depend on your area. If you are in an area with lots of stores then expect poke stops after each block, but if in local areas where theres houses for miles then expect atleast 2 after 10 blocks away. Gyms wont mostly be located in convenient areas like a school or police department. They are just random. It may be beside traffic, Near Churches, or if your lucky enough it may be around your house. I have to walk like 3 miles to get to a gym near by only to find out how powerful the pokes were in there.
Game is addicting. There WILL be struggles (You wont always catch the poke you want), There will be cheaters (A dude attached his phone to his Flying droid and connected it to his laptop so that he can go out and catch pokes without making a step.), And there will be someone with pokes way stronger than you even though you started the game the same day it was released.
Also, Servers may shut down due to logic.
