France has been really getting it the worst in the last couple years. Fucking hell man.

Their location and history doesn't exactly help.

So, my Ethics class has been bringing up interesting points about Pokémon GO; namely, in the locations they pick for PokéStops and Gyms. How many here play it, and would any of you feel interested in talking about it?

Pokemon Go only works in one single part of all of Korea so far. I can't be bothered to go there anyway, and the next time I'm in the US is December. By then, I assume Pokemon Go will have died down quite a bit.

Pokemon go hasn't been much of a problem around where I live, unless you actually play Pokemon go. Because there is a college very close to my house (the nearest campus entry is a 2-3 minute walk.) which causes competition between teams to be fierce. There is a gym led by a exeggutor with a combat power of 1790. Not to mention that said college has about 3-4 poke stops on campus (not counting the gates) so that is a thing too. I've heard college students dividing their time up so that one Pokestop always has a lure module on it. One of my friends said that somebody's house became a gym because it used to be a church.

It's a little daunting when you are level six and your strongest Pokemon is a Pinsir with a combat power of 312.

How has Pokemon go affected other people's neighborhoods?

It hasn't. Everyone is too busy playing Clash Royale.

I'm awaiting to see if Evolve Stage 2 is any good after they ruined Evolve with their CSGO style ranked hunt mode and made match making shit.

But that's just me.

I play it. Many people around my area are on it non stop (Catching pokes from the Morning to the Night). The game is what some of us wished to happen in years. Sure, its not what we wanted our child hood to be, but its close. You see a Gyarados in the crowd one sec, Next thing you know, A whole crowd is Around that area.

Poke stops depend on your area. If you are in an area with lots of stores then expect poke stops after each block, but if in local areas where theres houses for miles then expect atleast 2 after 10 blocks away. Gyms wont mostly be located in convenient areas like a school or police department. They are just random. It may be beside traffic, Near Churches, or if your lucky enough it may be around your house. I have to walk like 3 miles to get to a gym near by only to find out how powerful the pokes were in there.

Game is addicting. There WILL be struggles (You wont always catch the poke you want), There will be cheaters (A dude attached his phone to his Flying droid and connected it to his laptop so that he can go out and catch pokes without making a step.), And there will be someone with pokes way stronger than you even though you started the game the same day it was released.

Also, Servers may shut down due to logic.

Wouldn't really call that cheating. That's actually quite smart.

No. That's called being extremely fucking lazy where you have to try and play a travel based game without actually travelling.
If you think that's a good idea you need to have your testicles hard boiled and then smashed with a hammer.

I think I remember this. Link me please. Sometimes I want to see if I was being a dick on purpose (as I frequently was last year) or if I had a point.

Let me see if I can find it. I sometimes just click on a random page to see what's going on.

Here is part of it. You can backtrack from here to find exactly when it starts.

It's funny that Zman kind of gave a cop out response.

I could think of a better defense for god and I'm not even religious.
