When I say "construction is dying," I don't mean we need less; I mean that nobody is going into the industry, hence why there are so many incomplete jobs and why adding more jobs will further delay and cost us. We need to get more people into the field, not overwork the people already there or further cut their potential growth.

Ah. I see. That makes more sense. I think part of the problem is that construction jobs have been saddled with just above 0 incentive for workers.

Which will be balanced by Trump's stance, which is that coal and oil can be gathered in a responsible manner, and that regulations which have negligible benefit for the environment should be lifted.

What's the connection from this point to what Exile said about the EPA?

Ignore them. They won't go away, but it will make things seem better.

But isn't this how problems get worse? if we let a few in now they will evolve and flood the general section. We need better defenses.

Optimism leading to inaction is worse than pessimism leading to action.

Pessimist = you're always either right or pleasantly surprised
Optimist = always either right or unpleasantly surprised because things didn't go the way planned.

If everyone were pessimists the world would be a better place.
