actually better than exams imo. i'd rather sit down and research something than feebly attempt to memorize everything.

i complain about the number of assignments, but thanks to them i don't have to worry about my as exams much - i've almost got enough grades to pass all my subjects already.

Same here. My course are mostly practical; I don't have exams either. But the time we are given finish them all is quite choking.

We do have quizzes though, which I don't really mind since it's more of a testament if I paid attention or not. I hate exams because sometimes it forces me to read the whole thing all over again and hope that I don't miss anything that'll come out.
