Wassup man?
Nothing much man. I have two jobs and am trying to move out. Just keeping myself busy. My computer died so I couldn't really keep up with this forum for awhile. Got a new phone recently and decided to check back in to say hi at least. :)

Haha shoot me a message when you want man! I haven't written about my character in months, but I've wanted to get back into it.

You're gonna have a bad time here.
That's just great. Also, sorry to sound like an annoying git here, but the limit for signatures is back to 500 characters -_- . You have no idea how many times I've edited my signature.

Despite all the turmoil, an insaneintherain gif is all you need to survive in this world.

The cover of Rosalina's Comet Observatory from Super Mario Galaxy? Oh yeah, I loved that one, but then again, it's hard to not like the majority of his music though lol. Cool to see another fan of Carlos! A rare species we are indeed, at least to me, not many of the people I know actually know him, or even like jazz.

I can understand not that many people knowing of him, but not liking Jazz?
I don't know that many people that have a low opinion on Jazz.

I think most of my friends probably just stereotype the whole genre of jazz, seeing it all as "some weird old music," and many of my millennial friends think of Sinatra when jazz comes to mind since that's probably the only kind of jazz they have been exposed to and ultimately think all jazz is like that and therefore not cool (though I personally love Frank) if that makes sense. They are more into rap and hip hop, but my cousin did show me a good jazz-hip hop band called Bad Bad Not Good, so maybe they will be into that.

frank sinatra is a god tier vocalist
also he isn't the stereotypical jazz artist. vocal jazz is not the first thing that comes to people's minds when they think of jazz.
and if someone doesn't like jazz because its "boring" then they're brainlets

My friends are students, and they would never listen to jazz on their own will, but a teacher of ours plays Sinatra a lot, and they despise him for it, but yeah, most of them are brainless lol. I do see what you are saying though, it's just for the most of them, vocal jazz does often come to mind because of said teacher making them listen to it before and after study hall. I speak for them I guess when I say that it's not the singing that they are against, it's just they aren't a fan of that style of music.

shut up salt get back to listening to 3 hours of experimental african tribal war cries from the 1900's
Sep 14, 2017 11:57 PM #1483825
Speaking of African tribes:
So apparently there's this African myth about the pregnant women who were thrown off of slave ships. The myth goes that the children in them, since they breathed in the "water" in the womb, that they then could breath the water as their mothers drowned. they eventually create an under water atlantis ish society.
I forget the name of it. Heard it on a podcast at work.
