For a favourite band I'd have to pick either Devin Townsend or Mother Mother. they aren't even in the same genre, but I enjoy both bands a lot, and I never seem to get bored of either of them.
I also like Ninja Sex Party, I absolutely love their cover albums.

I'm quite surprised that nobody's mentioned The Beatles yet.
