I watched an episode that in theory had some pretty explicit shit in it, there was a bloke that was apparently over a hundred or something and enjoyed being with young girls. Don't know if it's just me but that's not putting a lovely message across really.

Haha I saw like a few episodes of Shin Chan before, i actually thought it was really good. But like Gavel said, the difference of course being that more adult shows don't give out the right message because we are "mentally mature".

Simpsons isn't a children's show. It's better described as a "family" show, of course, most of the new episodes boast a TV-14 rating.
