Work is very interesting these days. I work in the fruits section of a Superstore market, where I've learned that old people love to hang out in. So I get asked for help from them a lot since their IQ is dropping and their eyesight is failing.
So one old lady comes up to me and asks me where some kind of fruit is in the store. I don't remember the name because its a large one, but I learned later that its like an orange mix of a grapefruit and a tomatoe. Apparently the fruit she was looking for was right in front of her, but I couldn't understand her clearly cause of her gravelly voice. It didn't help that I had no clue what this mystery fruit was. This is how the conversation went. I'll call the fruit with a long name "tomatoefruits.":
Lady: Can you show me where the tomatoefruits are? I cant find them in this place anywhere.
Me: What? Tomatoefruits?
Lady: I searched this darned place three times now and I cant find 'em.
Me: *I notice that she's carrying a grocery list.* Hey could I see your list? I might know what fruit you're looking for if I see it.
Lady: But thats my list, you hooligan!
Me: But I just-
Lady: Back in my day, you would get a good smacking for trying to such a thing. What has the world come to?
Me: *Holds in a murderous rage* Sorry. That guy over there will be able to help you better than I can.
