From spandex to board shorts. I'm no UFC watcher but I can guess that they used to wear spandex, but now they wear board shorts. Unless it's just up to them and some do wear spandex sometimes and others wear board shorts.

I'm pretty sure they just wear these board shorts over spandex shorts. I'm also thinking it's just the style now.

And to answer your question, it gives them more mobility so that it's easier to kick and work the high guard. The reason that most people switched is because there is more room for sponsors on board shorts, which brings in more money for the fighters. They can wear whichever shorts they prefer.

Also Real, I have no problem with you or anything that you said. I was mainly just setting it straight for the people that don't follow the sport.

Hmm, they need something that allows a lot of movement but at the same time has enough space for advertising...

They could wear thongs, use temporary tattoos for advertisingz

But that doesn't look like it'd be comfortable to kick and move around in. So maybe they can be modified to be a tad looser. That'd be plenty of advertising space.

i've always liked UFC and how everyone fights in it. I like the fighting style. But I use some indian/arabian defensive style that makes your opponent collapse in around the first few hits. I forgot the name though.

What do you mean, you use a style? How could you possibly not know the name of the sport you are practicing?

He probably just trying to fit in with all this UFC talk.
