Well, lately I've seen you just buy a copy and the company that sells the game just gives you a download link that's tied to your account. Like how Valve does it with Steam. All your games are tied to your account and you don't require a disk to reinstall/install.

Better then having to worry about losing the disks or having the disks to scratched for the console to read.

i buy all my pc games through steam, its the easiest cheapest way to game, but with the consoles if your going round a mates house for like a few games then you can bring over your shit and play at that
