4 days until Operation Flashpoint DR. This should hold me until Borderlands, which will have me occupied until MW2, which will probably take over my life. I kinda feel sorry for AC2 and the lack of attention it will get coming out so close to MW2.

I'm fully aware of that, but AC2 will get a lack of attention due to it being released so close to MW2. Since MW2 is considered the most anticipated game of the year, and has pretty much won GOTY purely because of the anticipation behind it is what has it stealing the spotlight. Unless this game turns out to be the worst game ever made (which, honestly, it doesn't look that way), this will wipe the floor of all other games released close to it.

Which is a bad thing. And I'm not saying MW2 won't be a good game, but unfortunately the whole thing seems to be built up on tower made up of primarily fan-boys and hype.

Modern warfare 2 has zero chance of winning game of the year, It just isnt going to happen. You aren't considering Batman, Bioshock 2, AC2, or any of the other games coming out this year. Batman is pretty much the only game that has the majority chance of winning.

I feel that Batman: AA deserves GOTY. But, I really do think it will win, even though there are better games out and coming out.
