I heard Cannibal Holocaust is good for gore, I've never seen it, so I couldn't judge on it's fear factor.
I haven't even looked into it much, I was just told about it when I was talking about the SAW movies with a friend.

I've already watched it. About 3 or 4 animals were killed on the set of the movie. It's suppost to be a "Snuff Film" but it turned out to be a fake. It's a pretty good movie if you love blood and gore. The plot is pretty good too. If I must say though, don't watch it unless you are faint of heart or really queasy around gore. There is so much of it in that movie it's not even funny.
