prototype i found was absolutly appaling compared to infamous, i really couldnt have fun on it at all, i know alot of other people have but i just didnt enjoy it

i couldnt at all relate to the main character, he was just all like, i am alex murcer, i dont remember anything so im going to eat people to find out my DESTINY, whereas the infamous guy was all like 'i slowly got powers while i was lying in a hospital bed' and you guide him through developing his powers, whereas prototype its like EAT HIM. NOW YOU GET NEW POWER WELL DONE!

i suppose when it came to the gameplay it kind of made up for it, eating an old lady and charging down the street at 80mph disguised as her while throwing cars about is pretty fun, but there is no sense of earning that ability at all. you can do it straight from the start.

the games have nothing to do with each other. They're just two games about super powered men that came out around the same time.
both games are great, i'm sure.
One game was released on every console rather then being a stupid ****ing exclusive.
that game is more popular because of it and more people have played it, therefore its usually talked about more.
And once I get a ps3 some year, infamous is going to be one of the first games I get.

same. Alex, from the start, has most of the good powers. The "Web of Intruige" or whatever it's called is amazing. I literally spent hours just going through the web (which is ****in huge) and looking at the videos.

the thing that threw me off was when alex met his wife (note: in the middle of zombie-infested NYC) she was just like: "oh hi there my long-lost husband. now get the **** out and hijack an APC."

and none of the characters even acknowledged the fact that Alex has literally killed millions. but it's still kind of fun.
