I suck at math amazingly bad but I'm pretty sure you CANT solve it unless you give us what X or Y means. From that all we can deduce is that X is negative.

Solve it for X I presume?

-Y = 2X

(-Y/-1) = (2X/-1)

Y = -2X

(Y/-2) = (-2X/-2)

(Y/-2) = X

I think... not 100% sure
