Wasn't it gone before you joined? It was taken down for upgrades but then they decided to just shitcan it. Worst decision ever made by stickpage. A lot of people will deny it because "the portal sucked", but they can't deny the prosperity it brought our community.

Yeah, I created an account to complain about it :P That was a great place. Sad thing that they removed it.

and then fluidanims took up the stickfigure portal idea, so even if we got ours back by some miracle, we wouldn't be special anymore

yeah i guess, but then visitors would have a place that is part community but also part entertainment, so they don't leave, and gradually get involved with the community and then the forum... that's kinda how it used to work, but now visitors (12 year olds looking for stick killing animations) go straight to this plain-looking desert that has no videos or games, and leave. Or I would assume.

That is also true. Maybe they should bring it back but make everything more awesome. A New and Improved Portal would sound nice. Make it happen Admin! By the way. What happened here? Weren't their more admins and mods.

Yeah, I was a mod myself. The forum was hacked, shit went down, etc etc it has been explained too many times now. The only administrator reset the forum back to April 2010 because the hacker demolished it completely. Then he deleted the moderator usergroup, and here we are
