Jeremy, it's most likely not that he feels offended or hurt, it's just that it's nearly impossible to start an intelligent conversation here without people already trying to bring you down. That is really annoying.

I'm not the actual owner no, but I will be acting essentially as such. I wont be changing logos or changing the companies ID or making huge changes to site layout and such, but I will be in charge of all community events, soon to be- what goes on the front page, portal( when its out ), forum organization as well as team assignments, essentially what crazy jay was before or as he wanted to be but just under to much of a time crunch to run the business from the outside.

I will have the power to clean the slate if I 'needed to' but that's not my intention what-so-ever. I want you guys to know as much as those coming from FA that I respect what you guys have, what you've done and where you've gone as well as what respect you have as users. I'm not just gonna come in here and get all hitler up in your face. How can you respect someone as a leader if they don't have any for you?

I'll have to continue to clear things up because there is a lot of details in what we'll be doing as we move forward. This wont be just a 'one-day' type thing. This will happen over time as we move more things over as well as people here. I want it to happen naturally, as possible.

Hope that clears SOME things up? I can understand how you guys would be fearful of losing what you DO have at this time. I want to assure you I'm not here to 'flatten' that. There will be rules in place that I'm sure you'll not agree with, some things you'll not be used to and potentially rage, but at the very same time I intend to bring loads to the table to bring this place fully to life along with tons of other facets to get in touch with other users and take stickpage to the next level. Some of you could care less or don't want this to happen and I get that, but I will do my best to respect your place and boundaries if you can try your best to give me that level of respect as well.

I get its hard for you guys, but you are disregarding that this is pretty annoying for us as well, you are going to be changing our forum from a dynamic that we have had for a long time. And I personally am worried its going to turn into the soft shell "conversations" you have at fluidanims. I like being able to bite people, because I know they can and do bite back.

Yeah, I wont be 'laying the smack down' but I will be tightening it up a bit to make it more comfortable.

welcome over here stone, errybody. I was on fa in a pretty minor way a few years ago as leenug, but sp's always been sort of a home base, though a tumultuous one at the best of times. Looking forward to a crucial injection of the fa enthusiasm for animation, more contests etc

To be fair, we only really troll really stupid individuals now and then. When someone seem like he's being a dick just for the sake of it he gets banned. Stone and the other FA mods coming over will see the discussions in the NTF section about people who're taking it too far.

Don't worry! Stone is probably the best admin you could ever wish for!

Nothing wrong will happen to the site. It will all be okay. Dont worry about the bad things. Stone is reasonable. This site is well maintained and has a diverse group. There seems to be no truely offending things besides for trolling, but ALL forums will have that no matter what.
