Hunger Games is PG? Far out, that a ruins the whole spirit of the movie right there. IT'S MEANT TO BE GRUESOME.

MA15+... that is not standard. Does that translate to PG-13?

It should atleast be M.

I was exactly the same man. And Jennifer Lawrence is so hot.

I hate how Gary Ross the director decided to make it PG. If he really cared about the movie rather than making money, he would have made it MA15+

MA15+ is an Australian classification. PG-13 in America is equal to M-15 (or just M) in AUS.

Oh sorry, didn't realize AUS had different classifications.

Blue, we have PG-13 here aswell I am pretty sure.

Wait, apparently we only have PG, and in Australia M is closer to PG-13 than PG.

lol, most countries do. Like, Hong Kong runs off numbers.
Yeah, but U.S PG-13 is our M-15. Or maybe AUS classification board is more sensitive.

Well I really hope their PG-13 is our M. Would be much happier if the movie was labeled with a M rating.

Doesn't look like the admins are bothering to clear them up, but another issue may be that the forum reset probably reverted us to an old captcha which has been broken.

Oh shit shit shit!
I saw you guys talking about the Hunger Games (They're so amazing), and I remembered something. Firefly was throwing out spoilers of the Hunger Games on this thread a while back, and I read what she said because it was unlikely I'd ever read these books. That was before I read the books, but I had forgotten what she said. Now that I remember, it totally would have ruined the books for me.

And I agree that the movie should really be very bloody and depressing. I was thinking that R would be the best rating for it. It's supposed to be gruesome, or else it doesn't have the full effect it was meant to have. In the first book, when Cato was dying, he was described as a "piece of raw meat". How is that going to work if this movie is PG-13?
And what the hell? You guys said it might be PG? If so, that is way fucked up. It would have to be completely different than the books.

And if this movie is messed up, I'm going to start a riot. And you will help me.

Not might be. It is. PG-13, 117 minutes. At least the length is kind of decent.

But yeah what you were talking about with Cato and everything, that should be R. The effect it could have had on people would have been amazing.

If you ask me, they could have made an R movie, and scored like a 9.0 on IMDb, or they could make it PG-13, score a 7.5 and make more money. Fuck you Gary Ross.
