I don't think we need a usergroup for honored members.
It over complicates things. If they were that important, the community will remember them, or they would have set a precedent for the future of the forum.
I believe it is DarkDemon, it might be FA though that has literally so many god damn usergroups and different colored usernames, that I cannot even tell which usergroup is for regular members.
This isn't an exaggeration. I seriously spent a good five minutes trying to figure out what fucking color regular users had and what the fuck the other colors meant...

Most of the current community will not remember most (if any) of the purples because they resigned waaaaaaaay before they joined. I wasn't around for like half of them. But this doesn't change the fact that they served our community and should have a visible spot in our history... i just think it's romantic and nice. I'm so used to going to Forum Leaders and looking at all those heroes of the past, wishing I could one day sit alongside them

and again, it makes moderators feel comfortable with resigning when they think they should...

Man, why do so many FluidAnims members make their animation 'intros' so damn long? It's like 30 seconds of sometimes shoddy buildup, and then 2-10 seconds of animation.

I could be viewing this wrong, but the way many people see the "honorable" members are people who are ex-mods/admins that should be respected. If this is the case, then I don't think the group is really necessary. First of all, it seems that those who desire the purple names just want some kind of sense of authority. I can't exactly blame them for wanting that, but it's not something that should be made into a huge fuss. Second of all, you shouldn't need a purple name in order to be respected, and you shouldn't need a purple name in order to have more of a say in anything. People can tell the difference between an experienced, well-known user than a new user who doesn't know anything. You don't need a purple name to justify that.

But then again, I don't know much about the Honorable Group, so I guess I could be misunderstanding quite a few things.

2-D has the highest postcount that I know of, well, now that paperclip has lost pretty much all of his.

ikr. I think it's more than 30,000. I don't know how many Paperclip used to have before he pretty much lost all of his, but I'm sure it can't be higher than 30,000, because 30,000 is INSANELY high.

Btw, your sig was just "too damn high", so whoever mod edited it was just doing his job.
and also because DARA sucks and that mod knows it

I hope they will not bring "the Mood" option back. It was really annoying for me.

Well, it was sort of interrupting; as far as I remember most of them were animated... or I'm a tasteless bitch, who really knows?
