My dad's in the hospital now from heart pain. I have too much negative Karma.

EDIT: Got some more news. He's staying at the hospital for the rest of the weekend, at least. His heart is weak, causing his blood to coagulate in his heart. They know how to fix the clogging, but they don't know why his heart is weak. He says he wants the computer, so I'll send it his way.

I asked my mom to buy a Maxim magazine for him. She says she won't, though. >.>

She all pissed that I'm not worried. I see four options:

He dies. Not likely, but it could happen.

He takes medication for the rest of his life.

Some miracle.

He gets a valve transplant.

Well, look at it from your Mum's perspective.

You not worrying about your dad does seem a little like you don't care about him.

Just tell her that, I'm sure she'll understand. Besides, she's fearing for the worst.

That's kind of how I felt when my uncle got cancer.

I mean, there was nothing I could do to help, no point making a huge fuss about it.
Granted, I was really upset that he died, but I couldn't have changed anything, short of going back in time to make him quit smoking sooner.
