Take a look at the forum index just above where it counts the total number of users and posts. There are Spamomatic statistics for automatically blocked users and automatically moderated posts.

The disadvantage is that it wasn't built for an animation website. It essentially doesn't publish any post with a link in it until a moderator approves it, which is wreaking havoc in the flash section.

Facebook chat was always a piece of shit.

To be honest the best form of communication is via an IRC client like xchat or something. But I am guessing most of our friends don't even know what an IRC is.
