bond is pretty cool, being a mod without even knowing what a mod is or knowing he is one shows how chilled out he is

I honestly can't tell if you are being sarcastic or not, but...thank...you?

damn this jeff guy just gave me another infraction for calling him out on his period

its like i really AM surrounded by 13 year olds who want to pretend they have power

Yeah being a little bitch because you can't handle spewing all of your garbage thoughts into a single post means I'm PMSing. A logical thinking adult would realize that the infractions are for a reason and then do something to fix it instead of being a giant baby bitch.

Edit: also this user was banned for being a secondary account of another banned user. Hey look I used the edit button and it didn't kill me holy shit!

So I just logged in to my old-ass AIM account from like 8 years ago, and I have a shit ton of old people on there that I had forgotten about.

One of them is Soulja Boy. I am not shitting you. I finally have some semi-concrete proof of my claim that he used to be a stick animator and that I would chat with him a lot about his stick animation site. I hope he comes online so I can chat with him.

I second that claim. I tell people this every time he comes up in conversation, and nobody ever believes me. I remember him being on PF. He would always post his little raps and then get flamed for sucking. Few years later he shows up on MTV or some shit all of a sudden. Guess the joke was on us.

But yeah, i doubt he'll be on his old account. Im sure he's got other 'famous people' things to do, then chat with old animation folks on AIM.

Haha probably. Doesn't look like he's been online in years on that account. He'd probably pretend to not remember or some shit. I'd still do it though.

Why the sudden strictness on double posts in the Chat Thread? There's like a berjillion of them that happened in the last month that aren't infracted. Same thing with one word posts.
I'm just saying what it looks like, but it really seems like you're giving infractions to people a lot more often if you don't like them, Jeff. I try really hard to not do that.

So I'm learning right now how to install LED lights. Specifically in cars. I'm planning on getting a 30-40 watt soldering iron and some 60/40 "44" rosin core solder since that seems to be the actual chemistry of the process. Not exactly sure what to install yet, but I just want to be prepared for in the near future when I decide to get creative.

Anyone got tips or advice? Mainly on what I should install? I drive a Sterling Grey 2012 Ford Focus SE. Here's some pictures of the interior and exterior.

Anyways, I finished Incubus a while ago. It ended up being 37 pages long and 75,000 characters. I might write the epilogue, but it's not necessary. Holler if you want to see it.

I give out infractions for rules broken regardless of where I happen to see them. That is what you should be doing as a mod. I can't be everywhere at once, and the usual quick pace of this thread means I'm most likely going to miss a bunch, but it would still infract them when I see them. This thread isn't exempt from the rules, and editing your fucking post is not that hard, and is much cleaner than having someone post multiple times like they couldn't process a full thought before clicking the post button.

It also probably seems like I infract people I don't like because the people I don't like are usually retarded or degenerates. Acting out at me puts you on my radar, and that means I take time to look at your history on the site, which usually leads to me finding problems if they exist. I also will not provide leniency for people that don't treat me with respect. If you get an infraction, be a man about it. Dont publicly bitch, talk to me one on one about why you think it's not fair. I am more likely to provide leniency for people that I know, because I know about them and how they are. Sometimes people slip up, or sometimes I can see why they NEEDED to bend or break a rule one time. There is nothing wrong with this, because if they let it go to their head and think they're immune to punishment I will quickly put an end to it. Basically, I treat respectable people with respect, I treat dirtbags like dirt. If you don't want me coming down on you, don't break the rules. This isn't a difficult concept.

Edit: I also feel it's necessary to point out that it's very inappropriate to raise your personal issues with another mod or admin in a public setting like this. If you have an issue with anything, I'd be more than happy to discuss it in private through PMs or with the other mods in the bat cave.

Edit 2: And before anyone raises a stink about what I said to Index, it was already in public, and he chose that setting to bring up his issues. I sent him a simple and dignified PM about what was up so as to present a situation in which everyone would be able to walk away without any arguments or anger because I didn't want it to be a big issue, and he chose to bring up the issue publicly. I stopped after 1 post because I said what I needed to, and there was nothing more to say after that.

Ah, I understand. Thanks for explaining.
At edit 1: I posted that here only because it would get a quicker response from you than it would in the bat cave or some such. For some reason the "New Posts" button doesn't bring up new posts/threads made there (which is largely why my responding to reports has dropped a lot), and I practically live on that button. Thought it would take a while for you to see the post too.

Oh that makes sense. I don't use the new posts button really, so I'd have seen it pretty quickly. You could also PM me. I seem to have a problem recently with people posting their problems in the chat thread. I guess it's because it's usually about trivial things that are better suited to be dealt with quickly one-on-one, but instead they decide to post it in the chat thread as if it's like a gladiator ring or something. It probably makes me a bit over defensive.
