I think you're getting your biblical references mixed up. Lot's wife being turned into a pillar of salt as they fled had nothing to do with false idols. The modern interpretation of Genesis 19:23, "But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt" is that Lot's wife was turned into a pillar of salt for not literally but figuratively "looking back". At the time that they fled, she had not fully given up her desire to sin/her desire to live in a sinful city, so her being turned into a pillar of salt is basically the result of a minor thought-crime against God.

I have my own theories. Mainly that the burning and destruction of Sodom and Gomorrha was a conspiracy put together by the bush administration in order to invade Canaan and take advantage of their oil resources. Lot's wife was vaporized simply for being a witness, and God was used as a scapegoat to cover their actions.

Sort of. I guess you could classify it the same, but it's a different approach. If your definition of "portal" is "place to show stuff and shit" then yeah I guess it would be. I haven't had much time to work on it because Fileize + Clients.
