See, my only issue with that is, i'll try to grab my phone and or keys. Then, like an idiot, I'll pull out the wallet simultaneously. Now, I've caught myself doing this everytime when I used to have it in one of those pockets but the amount of fear that I'd get when it would happen thinking about the one time I would not notice overwhelms me. Never liked the idea of putting my wallet in my back pocket for multiple reasons. For me though, its better than me potentially losing it. lol.

when i was like eight i were going around the street where i lived collecting random coins and stumbled across a wallet, i took it with me and then i saw a man going around the place where i found the wallet searching for something. I just handed it to him and he looked at me thankfully and gave me half of what was there for returning it. :D

I don't like putting my phone in with any thing else, especially keys and loose chains, because I'm worried about scratching it or damaging it in some way. I can't see how people can even use their back pockets, sitting down would be uncomfortable or inconvenient because then you'd have to take everything out of your back pocket and you'd be sitting there holding it all. Especially phones, I'd be so worried about falling on my ass and smashing the phone in my back pocket.

lol i usually have hella stuff in my pockets.

front right pocket: phone, keys, chapstick, pen or pencil.
front left pocket: wallet (although recently i stopped carrying my wallet), sticky notes (i like to animate on the go), MORE pens/pencils.

back right pocket: nothing really. maybe a comb sometimes.
back left pocket: nothing.

Most the kids at my school actually have broken ipods or phones because they have it in their back pockets. I keep everything in my jacket pockets. Or my front pants pockets. Like Jeff said, I actually see no reason why someone would use back pockets. I've tried... Its fucking annoying.

Wallet front left, cash back right, phone front right and keys front right or left, doesn't matter on them.

right pants pocket: keys, possibly tissues
left leather jacket pocket: wallet
right leather jacket pocket: hash brownies when available, possibly tissues, otherwise a bottle of water
left leather breast jacket pocket: "kit" (ie. drugs and tools for drugs)
right leather breast jacket pocket: USB
left leather inner jacket pocket: possibly a bag of weed
right leather inner jacket pocket: reserved for bottle/flask of liquor, otherwise papers/directions/transport routes/receipts whatever

apart from that i have at least four other generally unoccupied pockets
