Okay I've had so many people get mad at me for "ignoring" them on IRC because they think whatever IRC tells them is the absolute truth. Here are some facts about my connection to IRC:

- I connect using a ZNC server so that I can link my Desktop, my Laptop and my phones to ONE IRC account. This way I'm not logged in as Jeff, Jeff_Laptop, Jeff_Android or Jeff_iPhone.
- As a result, I am usually connected 24/7 unless my server goes down. That rarely happens.
- If you /whois me, the information report is most of the time inaccurate due to my setup. Idle time is especially inaccurate, because ZNC itself will report information to the IRC server on my behalf, whether or not I'm actually there. I don't know exactly how, when or why this is the case, but it is. I'm not ignoring you, I'm probably away.
- If you VERSION me, you will likely get back between 4 and 8 responses, depending on how many devices I have turned on and connected. Both my iPhone and my SGS3 sometimes receive push notifications, I don't know if VERSION will report them all the time.

Please for the love of god, if I don't respond to you, stop flipping out. Tabbing me multiple times and getting angry solves nothing, especially because I'm likely not even there. I also frequently lose queries when I'm not connected, so even if you leave me a message I still might not get it. If you need to contact me and I'm not there, PMing me on the forums is the best way to do it, because I have a definite record of it and unless I forget I will respond when I get a chance.

I have no idea. All I know is that I won't be getting back on IRC for a LONG time. Also, when I was spamming on IRC, I was banned from both the network and this forum. I was anticipating the infraction message, because I wanted to see the chat where I went full retard. I didn't receive a PM, and I didn't see any infractions on my profile. I was banned, but received no points. I find that strange.

If its something real bad, then it will probably permanent, but if not, then probably a short period of time. I think thats how it is.

It depends of the mod on how long will the ban be, it can be 5 minutes, 1 hour, several hours, or a perma ban

Well i got banned for i think spamming the faces i think only 4 or 5 lines i didn't realize it till i got banned but i guess i got banned from the stick page channel and not others. Im just hopping the ban will lift real shortly.

I've never gotten banned from the forum nor irc.
I usually calm my tits by the first infraction, doesn't happen again for a few months after they expire.
I still need to sort my shit out, lol.
