The majority of content on DA is non-pornographic. Also, last time I checked you needed to say you were over 18 to view the explicit content. I'd say links to DA are fine unless you're linking directly to a pornographic image.

I'm not saying I disagree with you, but from what I've seen, the definition of "pornography" is based on the view of the majority, and around here that seems to amount to "something naked."

The rule is for "inappropriate material", which includes pornography but isn't limited to it. Deviant Art is kind of like Google in the sense that you can use it to find porn, but the majority of the time it's used to link to appropriate content instead. It would be inappropriate if someone linked to a Deviant Art showcase containing adult content, similar to how Solister was linking to google searches for similar content with the expressed intent of skirting around an established rule.
