I meant all sorts of weather related damages which freezing cold is.

Yeah, putting it in water isn't going to work because the warranty doesn't cover it. I don't think I really would trust putting some kind of virus on to my iPod. The freezer idea might work, but if they don't cover it and the iPod doesn't work anymore, then I'm still broke and lacking a working ipod.

Nope the iPod freezing up isn't covered either I just checked :[ and why don't you trust put a virus but you trust putting in a freezer?

I already said that I don't really trust putting it in the freezer. Plus I'm sure that you won't be able to find a reliable virus that will actually get what I want done.

Well, as you have about 2 months, you could just leave it on for a long period of time? Possibility it could overheat or something.

Yes there are viruses you can download and it completely kills your iPod.

That would just run the battery down.

Leave it charging aswell?
It might damage the screen abit if it doesn't completely burn it out.
