There are 9 senses, not 5.

Plenty argue more than 20 senses. There is much uncertainty about this, really.

Also. Ebola is not airborne and will not spread until symptomatic.

Silencers don't silence guns like they do in movies. The guns still sound like normal guns sound when they don't have silencers.

Yes. Guns sound like guns. And silencers do silence guns in fact.

EDIT: It depends on the suppressor, some are made to basically make the gunfire inaudible. And others are made just to prevent hearing loss in shooting ranges. This is an example of a suppressor that actually silences the gun.

The Great Wall of China isn't continuous as some people may think, but rather a series of sections, and deciding which sections you want to visit depend on the crowds, physical condition, and weather conditions.

Also, it cannot be seen from the Moon with the naked eye.

Also, stay the hell out of East St. Louis, Illinois. It is the city with the highest crime rate in the United States and almost two thirds of its population has left since 1950. It's literally swarming with gangs. You don't want to be anywhere near here.

Here's a picture of a street in present East St. Louis:

Looks like a ghost town. Please never visit.

Here are some misconceptions and over exaggerations about the sword as seen in media.

-Stabbing a sword into the ground is a terrible move because it blunts the blade and ruins the condition
-It's a terrible idea to practice with an actual sword, use either a wooden or practice one instead as it worsens it's condition to use
-Swords are more fragile than you think, they need constant care and over time they will turn useless because of the mandatory sharpening and polishing that ends up making the blade thinner and shorter
-Dragging a sword against the ground does look cool because of the sparks that come off the blade, but those sparks are pieces of metal, metal that supports the swords structure and keeps it sharp
-(common sense) Swords can't cut through rock or solid steel, simple logic, your animus and mangars were lying to you

You should also mention that it's unwise to guard blade first as it chips the blade. You're actually supposed to tilt your blade sideways and guard against their blade with the flat of your sword. Holywood be damned.

Also, slashing at anything with armor doesn't work so actual historical swordplay focused mainly on thrusting and grappling*, with emphasis on the 'half-swording' technique where you hold the sword as if it's a rifle and you are stabbing with the bayonet. That is, assuming we're talking about long-swords and similar traditional Western blades.

*heh, thrusting and grappling

They originate from spoken languages for deaf people to understand so I would think they're like subsets of spoken languages.

Their origin was not from spoken language, no. Their origin stemmed from sign language created by deaf communities to communicate between deaf people. Through time and migration, newer sign languages form from older sign language (for example ISL was a product of FSL) but may have retained some similar features.

By "relating to English", I mean that there are aspects of spoken and written English language in which sign borrows; such as finger spelling. They are not a subset, but a connection does indeed exist.

About the silencers one, the reason why theyre called silencers is because that's what they do...when applied in an urban or closed quarters setting. A gun normally sounds really loud, so using silencers in an apartment for example, prevents civilians from going deaf.

other weapon myths

- Guns of any kind need proper training or you will wing your shoulder or dislocate it

- Bullets fired at you don't actually kill you. The chances of hitting an organ is extremely low under normal circumstances. What kills you is actually the shock caused by the bullet fracturing and ricocheting inside your body.

- Nobody in the history of anything has ever throwing a grenade by biting on its pin. That shit is gross, and hard. There is also, unless coming up against amateurs (which is unlikely), no chance that a grenade can be properly thrown back when it is aimed at you.

- Firing an RPG or bazooka while standing in front of a wall, to attempt to prevent its kickback will not only destroy the wall, but also kill you from the combustion

- Shotguns do not work at long range

It took me a long time to realize this misconception, so I figured I'd save new people the trouble of learning it for themselves:

I'm not very cool.

Humans don't only use 10% of their brain(can't believe this wasn't said yet)
But for Scarlett Johansson, my brain may have to make an exception

Pretty sure everyone who's ever played a videogame that involves shotguns know this.
