Quote from A lot of peopleIt's been a while since we've had a backstabbing forum game.
I may have taken this a bit literally. Allow me to explain this game to you all.
The Game:
In this game there are two Hotseats. Each turn, two players are selected in a set order and they take a spot on two opposing Hotseats. Behind them lies a Support Area, where other players can give the player of their choice Attack or Defense boosts to help them in their Hotseat. At the end of this, the two players stab each other once and then leave until their next turn. The whole point of this game is to be the last man standing. You want to keep your Health Points high, while dealing damage to bring the HP of other players down. All while not attracting the revenge and/or hostility of the members around you.
How it's played:
Allow me to present the game's board with a quick bit of crappy MS paint.

Like I said above, each turn has two players taking their spots on a Hotseat in a set order. This begins the Preparation Stage.
During this Preparation Stage, other players may take their spots in the Support Area behind the player of their choosing. For each supporter, the player in the hot seat in front of them gains more Damage or more Defense. So for example a player with 3 supporters will be able to deal 3 extra damage. Simple.
However, players in the Support Area are able to Backstab the one who they're pretending to support. This will deal a respectable amount of damage and remove the stabber from the Support Box, meaning that he won't give his enemy any Stabbing boosts.
Hotseat Play:
To combat this, each player in the Hotseat is allowed to prevent one person from supporting them, permanently, per turn that they have to take in the Hotseat. On their second turn they can block a user in addition to the one they blocked last turn, so on and so forth. But remember that supporters will mean life or death for you being able to deal enough damage and survive taking hits.
-If you so choose, players in the Hotseat can turn around and stab one of their supporters instead of his opponent.
-Doing this means you'll take 50% more damage from your enemy when stabbed.
-You may choose not to attack your opponent at all.
Support Area Play:
If you're supporting an ally, you don't just have to give the guy a damage boost. You can also choose to reduce the damage he takes by 1 instead.
But why should you support other players? You want them all dead in the long run, of course. That's why Supporting (without Backstabbing) actually benefits you. On top of it giving you the gratitude of the guy you Supported, each time you enter the Support Area it increases your base damage by 1 for your next Hotseat. This goes back to 1 after your turn in the seat has passed, but it's still incredibly useful. Just be careful--you might make the man on the opposing Hotseat very sad that you supported his opponent.
Posting:
All posts saying who each player wants to support, as well as the actions of those on the Hotseat, will be posted here. Supporters, simply say who you wish to support by saying #Support (Player). The same thing goes if you want to backstab him. #Backstab (Player).
When on the Hotseat, you'll have to do the same thing and post here telling me if you want to choose not to attack your opponent, or to attack one of your supporters.
That's about it. Haven't run a game like this one before, so it should be fun. Get at me.
