Seeing the charging Splinter Fright, Boris quickly dodges out of its way as the wooden abberation runs straight into the wall. He summoned two more birds and enlarges them, ordering them to attack the creature. The birds rush towards the being and claws and pecks away the mighty enemy. Their talons continuously scrape the Splinter's thick bark, showing many deep lacerations, their beaks peck away what remains of the Fright, and their strong grip constantly grip onto its limbs, forcing it to break off.

He knew it was coming, it was all part of the plan, but that didn't stop it from hurting like a bitch. Septimius screamed as the roots skewered his arm, boring through his arm and staying there, not retracting, but staying impaled with blood dripping off, coloring his robes a crimsons red. His vision blurred and shook, but he couldn't leave the spikes there so he tried to concentrate his mana into his staff. Dregs of it pooled into the gem and turned into a blade that wavered and shook with the lack of mana it possessed. He slowly and agnotizingly sawed away at the spikes, cutting off each and every one. Once the last one was severed he toppled back in fatigue. He teased at the spikes, trying to pull them out, but the pain stopped him. He laid there, unable to move, to do anything. All he could do was lie there. He covered his face in shame, tears streaming down as his body numbed and his arm flopped to his side. He was losing too much blood, he couldn't... keep... his eyes open... he had... to do something... but what?

Otael stepped over the dead bird as he watched the splinter fright charge straight into a wall and start getting pecked at by Boris' own foul. He quickly charged straight at the pathetic excuse for a pile of twigs again, curled up to block his head and other vital parts of his body.

The alpha male was further weakened as the pus filled skin of his infection-riddled cut was thrust at his face. Lissette jumped on his back, calling him out and egging him to hit her. He was too weakened, his eyesight blurry. The beast fell to his knees, losing the life in his eyes as the poison coursed through him. It was only moments later that he fell on his face, his heart ceasing to beat.
Meanwhile, the enchantress pulled the sword out, before that annoying stitcher pulled down at the arm. The whip aligning with the bone caused her to scream in pain as her arm came clean off, spurting crimson red blood as it fell to the floor. She grumbled, a sword in her torso and her arm completely destroyed. She then looked back, noticing the alpha had perished. "No...Not like this. I must call the other werewolves."
Another whistle let loose from her lips, and a pack of werewolves came rushing down the corridor. She silently instructed them to attack, however as they looked at their dead leader on the ground...they stopped. They glanced at the enchantress, snarling. Realizing that the alpha had been following her orders. She had done this to him.
The enchantress' eyes widened, "What...Why are you looking at me like that, you bottom feeders?!"
They began to move toward her, eyes glowering red as licked their lips. Gabriel took out his sword and pushed her against the wall, rushing to the aid of Septimius while Desmond and Ghan both ran off. The enchantress was alone, bleeding from her chest and arm with many cuts on her. "You can't do this...I AM YOUR MASTER!," She tried to sound intimidating, but her voice was quivering.
Then, they charged. Her screams began to echo across the sewers as the werewolves raked their claws against her body, chomping down on her like they had been starving to death. She continued to scream profanities and that they couldn't do this, but it was soon drowned out by the gurgling of her own blood. The enchantress was dead.
The spikes fell out from Septimius' arm eventually, however he was still rendered virtually useless in combat. His body was convulsing from the lack of mana, and as Jessica rushed over to his aid, it was known that the loss of blood mixed with no mana was rendering him barely conscious. He needed help, and soon.
Otael ran toward the Splinter Fright, thinking that he would not be able to see with the tunnel vision. However, a branch came out from the monstrosity's sleeve, moderately sized. Instead of attempting to impale the gargantuan person, the Splinter Fright simply put the branch at ankle-length, causing him to trip and fall on his face. He wouldn't be a problem for a little while.
Meanwhile, the birds continued to slowly break away the limbs and the branches covering the torso as the Splinter Fright remained dazed from running into a god damned wall. The limbs grew back at exponential rates, however it was figured out that the ones at its torso grew back at a slightly slower pace. Boris could see the black heart deep within the abomination's chest. It was almost...glowing. Once it regained its composure, the tree being thrust a large branch in Boris' direction.

"Septimius!" Jessica yelled as she approached him as fast as she could, that damn tree beast was enraged and ready to attack, Septimius wasn't in the best position. Gabriel was apparently making his way towards them but considering the noise of his footsteps it'll take him some more time. When she finally make it to him she noticed all the wounds, the blood still comming out from them. She kneeled and tried to think in a way to cover the wounds, using her own ribbon she tied it up on his forearm and then she riped apart a big piece of cloth from her armor and covered his shoulder "Septimius hang on, Gabriel is making his way to us" she was deeply worried, and even tho that her warrior spirit demanded her to keep fighting, the kindness on her heart eliminated that option in the split of a second. Jessica carefully picked him up and started to go towards Gabriel "Don't worry, I'll keep you safe no matter what happens" she said with a firm decided tone.

"There it is... the heart," Boris thought as he got a glimpse of the tree being's only weakness, now exposed thanks to his gigantic birds. As the creature retain its balance, it thrusts a large branch at him, but took evasive action and dodged it to the side. He unsheathed his staff and points out the sharp spike at the Splinter. With just enough accuracy and some luck, he might have a chance in piercing the abberation's black heart. Like a javelin, he gave it a strong throw and watches the staff spiral towards the weakpoint.

His hastily bound arm hung at his side, the blood soon soaking through the cloth Jessica wrapped around it and began trickling down his arm drippling off his fingers, pattering onto ground. His head lolled to the side and he tried to look at Jessica, but the loss of blood was making him dilusional. "You're back..." he whispered, his left arm flinched and his fingers twitched as he tried to move it and brush her cheek. "I thought..." he swallowed, "I thought you were going to just leave me there... Reana." His blurry vision became crystal clear as Jessica turned into Reana in his mind. "I'm sorry you have to see me this way." He chuckled and coughed weakly, blood flecked onto his teeth and crawled down his lips.
"I wanted..." Tears began forming, "I wanted to be my brother so much. Someone who could protect everyone. But I... I'm not... and I'm so sorry Reana." His smile faded and he closed his eyes, his breathing became more shallow and sweat began beading down his face.

Desmond and Ghan took one look at the death of the enchantress before finally gazing at the SplinterFright. A massive branch was surging towards Otael and Desmond decided that he'd stop it. He charged forward, carried by his adrenaline, and attempted to cut down the branch. Ghan proceeded towards the main body itself of the wooden abberation with hands ready to smack the exposed organ with his fist. If it closed before he could hit it, he'd used every inch of his power to rip through the wooden chest.

"Uhh ?..." she was confused at first, but hen she realised that it was probably the blood loss making him see things, she could feel his heartbeats getting slower, he'd faint soon "Don't think on that Septimius" she said as he kept talking. "Stay awake, we're almost there!!" she yelled at him trying to keep him awake for some more seconds "Damn it... I can't do anything else??, nothing at all?. I just slay some monsters and that'd be my contribution?... DAMN IT", she felt so useless for not being able to help his friend more, in the last fights she hasn't contributed much either. She shook her head to the thoughts and paid attention at the monster's attack, in case that he tried to attack Septimius so she can be able to dodge the attacks. However she speeded up her way towards Gabriel.

Gabriel sprinted as fast as he could, dodging between the debris and gnarled branches that were strewn all over the floor. "Septimus!" He cried, seeing the horrible state he was in as Jessica carried him towards him herself, trying to get them together before it was too late.
Only a moment later but an eternity longer than he wanted it to be, Gabriel finally rushed to his brother's side and threw his hands over his form; holy energy already flowing into his body. "Hang in there, brother." He said, fighting tears. There were no such thing as those for a Commander in battle. All he could do was give Septimus everything he had, healing as hard as he could.

Feeling the Alpha fall she simply sat on his back rubbing it softly. Her poison finally consumed its strong victim as she remembered how long it took from his muscle mass and from the small amount that he endured. Looking over at the enchantress she called down a pack of the wolves. She sounded full of panic as her arm was finally ripped off. So much blood. Liss smiled before catching something gold. Turning she looked at Marcus and the blood leaking from his mouth. It smelled so unique that she lost her focus seeing the wolves come down and see their leader under her, only to attack the woman pulling the strings. Lissette couldn't help but snicker at her screams. Reaching down she stroked the werewolves hair before standing up and looking at the tree and Boris working his magic. Her eyes seemed emotionless at this moment as blood dripped from her arms mouth and down her pure white body. Stumbling slightly she placed her hand on her head burping softly the werewolves blood exited her mouth as the blood from her skull mixed in with it. "Mmmnnn..." Dropping to her knees she began to hear ringing and a voice rolling through her mind chewing at her ambition. Her Horns were so massive that when she looked down her entire front of her body fell until she passed out.

The assault on the stick creature was going well, but not well enough to slow the spikes. They sped towards Ravin at incredibly fast speeds. It would take someone of immense agility to dodge that. An incredibly agile metal hunter perhaps, but where will we find one of those at this hour?
With a swift spin, the branches narrowly missed him, and imbedded themselves into the ground next to him Ravin regained his footing, and held Cerulean up, in a fencer salute to the wooden monstrosity.
"I just want you to know that I pull off the faceless look so much better" With a quick cut, he opened up a branch a tiny bit, before removing the venom again.
"Oh, whatever a difficult situation you're in! I hope my clumsy metal fingers don't do something clumsy" he squeezed a small amount into the wound "Oops!". He wrenched the branches from the ground, and threw them backwards at the creature. "And with that, adieu!" He said, bowing low. The quips came naturally to him, and his natural agility aided his dream. Maybe being a dashing swordsman wasn't so hard after all

The Splinter Fright didn't seem to care for the flying javelin at first, holding no interest in it. However, combined with the pecking away of his branches, it began to panic as it tried to grab at it. However, the javelin was simply too fast, going through its chest and piercing its heart. Black blood spurted to the ground, and it began to stumble. All possible regeneration had ceased completely. The branches that were spread across the room broke into pieces before dissolving, leaving only the Splinter Fright's body. It stumbled back at first, before stumbling toward Boris.
It waited until it was mere inches from Boris before it stopped completely. It began to disintegrate from the bottom up, however still managed to stay at its same position, as if by supernatural forces.

As Boris looked up at the beast, something happened. A bright flash of light sparked around it, blinding everyone within the vicinity. Boris had to cover his eyes and await a few moments before looking up with blurry vision. As he did, his eyes widened in both complete shock and utter terror. The flash of light had transformed into an aura, which had become the figure of a person. Someone he knew all too well.
Themba Oluwayemisi. She was smiling down at him.

"Shh..." His eyes flickered open and he waved one finger lazily, but it was still by his side it wasn't very obvious, "I just want... to sleep, Reana. It'll only be... a quick nap." His eyes grew heavy as he gave Jessica a small smile, "I'll talk to you... after." He closed his eyes again.
Suddenly he felt a warm glow all over his body and he heard more yelling, this time he was able to distinguish the voice as his brother's. His eyes opened again and he turned his head to look at his brother through half-closed eyes. "What're you... doing here? Shouldn't you be by... by Jessica?" He smiled like he was drunk, "Telling her... how much you... loooove her." He giggled like a little kid and fell asleep, blanketed by the warm glow of healing. Already an improvement could be seen, color was returning back to his face and his breathing deepened.

By the time Marcus reached the monster they had already vanquished it. He turned and noticed Liss had fallen just before the blinding light had filled the room. Once the light had passed Marcus could be seen on his knees holding Liss' altered body in his arms. He ran his fingers through her black poisonous hair and down her back as he whispered to her sleeping body, "rest now, you've earned it." Marcus was happy.
