Marcus pushed passed Adric and ran after Liss. Before he could get to where she was she had sped away on some creature's arm. He followed her path until she saw Liss on top of the creature, killing it? He slowed his pace down as he entered the room and watched Liss and all of her power. He always thought from the beginning that she was just a shy girl, traveling with a group of heroes on their journey to save Rae-Ala. Now is when Marcus realized how powerful this dark priestess was. As he watched Liss attack the creature, he began to feel a tightening sensation on his body. He watched in amazement as she helped herself to a can of whoopass. With a grin of pride on his face, he yelled back to the others, "I think she has it!"

Before she, or anyone could do something, Lissette changed.... in every way, she mabaged to counter attack and got back into the room, Jessica followed until she was next to Marcus, hearing how Lissette started to kill whatever that monster was. But... something was off... she steped closer to her and lift her hand to her saying in a really soft voice "Liss?.... are you ok.?..."

The rest of the group rushed toward Lissette in an attempt to help her, however it seemed as though she needed no help at all. She allowed the heavy branch to slam her into the wall, before climbing up the arm as fast as she could. The sound of multiple branches snapping occurred as the beast pulled the branch back as fast as it could, causing Lissette to be run into its body without warning. The beast thrust himself forward, causing Liss to fly into the forms of Marcus and Jessica. Now it stood tall, looking carefully at the group. the sounds of snapping continued to resonate from the being, as if it was laughing once more.

"So I see that your friends have come to see us, Lissette," A sultry female voice said. She emerged from the shadows of the room, a lithe and powerful enchantress. Her eyes were a violet purple, glowing and illuminating the black. There was a whip in her hand, however the thin end seemed to be intertwined with the inside of her arm. Next to her was another male. He had blonde hair and sea blue eyes, and a toothy smirk was plastered on his unblemished features. He was tall and muscular, and was shirtless with ripped up jeans. His hands were balled up into fists. It was also obvious that he had a small grazing cut on his stomach, with a portion of it green as if it was infected. Smaller bruises and cuts stayed with the both of them.

"How wonderful," She said, "It's a shame that it is simply too late."

As if on cue, the male's eyes widened and he began to convulse, leaning against the wall as he practically howled in sheer pain. He thrust his head upward as his already muscular frame grew in size. His balled fist became open palms, nails turning to claws. His other pieces of clothing ripped apart, his veins and muscles bulging as his height grew as well. He let out one defining roar that seemed to shake the whole sewers before looking down at the ground. His tanned skin had turned black, and those blue eyes seemed to glow even more than before. Heavy breathing ensued, before the woman placed a hand on the now gargantuan beast's chin. He then looked forward at the group, snarling.

COMBO BOSS: The Alpha and The Enchantress (Click to Show)

Suddenly, the alpha's gargantuan hands wrapped around Lissette's frame, grabbing her and thrusting her back into the room harshly. The enchantress turned on her heels with a smirk and followed. The group of heroes moved to aid her in battle, however the Splinter Fright no longer desired to play games. With a simultaneous snap of multiple branches, from both of his sleeves emerged multiple, sharpened branches. Each one individually moved to penetrate the others'.

"Let the games begin."

The tree had rebounded her as well. She was getting cut, and was flung into people. She had no choice but to ignore them right now as she violently rubbed a lotion onto the cuts wincing and exhaling hard in subtle pain. Her skin was as if she never had her branded tattoos on her body, but instead now she had black skull markings, rib cages markings down to her pelvis as her eyes were completely black, giving the illusion of the sockets having iris'. It was only a short second later until she was grabbed again by a much bigger and softer hand. This demon dog. Perfect. Ramming her nails into his arm she waited for him to throw her, feeling the motion. Because it's not the first time she was freaking thrown into all sorts of rooms in these short 5 minutes. As she was flung into the room she had rolled into the room with huge chunks of the things arm before pushing it into her mouth eating the meat slowly as if mocking the werewolf. Her voice was warped but it was a bit more understandable. " N̷̕e̢͜é̛́͞͞d͏̵̢s̴̶̢͞ ͟͏̴k̢̕͜ȩ̨t̶̕c͢͟ḩ̵u͏͏̢ṕ̷́̕.̵̀͜ "

"Is that tree moving?..." was the first thing she wondered right before the monster decided to attack everyone with it's branches "Yes it is...." she thought before starting to sprint forwards the branch aiming directly at her chest, right before it reached her she placed her sword in front of her, followed by a jump and a twirl aiming to cut the branch and continue her way to her prime objective, the witch.

The situation was nothing like Marcus had expected. Once he saw Liss alive and doing well for herself he was overcome with joy. Still, even under attack by a bundle of fire wood, a bastard hound, and some cheap prostitute gypsy who exchanges magic tricks for dollar bills, Marcus found peace in knowing that Liss was alive and doing excellent for herself. He noticed the markings on her body had practically swapped and her eyes were different. It's something to get used to he thought, but I already really like it. Marcus ran into the room, sword drawn, saying to Liss, "If my lady wants bitch for dinner, then who am I to argue?" Marcus fought with joy and happiness in his heart as he swung his blade stronger than ever at the Alpha beast. As his sword slashed towards the alpha he called out to Liss once more, "Let's roast this pup with your tree friend over there!" Marcus would forever relish this moment.

Septimius decided to back up Jessica and focused his magic on keeping her path towards the witch wide open. Mana flared into the two gems on each end of his staff as he held it horizontally in front of him. He breathed in deeply then chanted, "Chains of ice, created with from frost of the north, freeze my foes and constrain them, crushing them to powder." Chains shot out both ends and shot towards the tree beast. Some hit and burrowed in, while others wrapped around his limbs and branches.

Otael noticed the branch coming straight towards his bare chest, which almost definitely wouldn't have been any fun to deal with if it hit. He quickly clapped down on the creatures branch stopping it. He then yanked on the hard wood to bring the splintery creature over to him, while reaching for his hook at the same time.

Many things happened all at once. Lissette's true powers were finally being realized, and she was beginning to relish the harm that she was causing to the enemy. As the alpha threw her, she also took a large chunk of his arm with her, causing him to roar in sheer pain. His blue eyes became much more focused, glaring at her as she chomped on his raw meat. He charged at the woman, flinging his arm in an attempt to impale her with his elongated claws.

Meanwhile, the others tried to get to the witch and alpha and aid Lissette, even though she didn't really need it. As Jessica blocked the first incoming branch, cutting it virtually in half, she then charged at the witch. However, to her surprise, the branch grew back at an exponential rate, it's sharp point returning and attempting to stab Jessica in the back of the head. The enchantress smirked at the coming swordswoman, "How cute. A blind girl trying to fight me."

She chuckled, taking the whip that was attached to her hand and flicking it toward her torso.

Marcus pretty much ignored the branches coming after him and ran toward the alpha. This proved to be futile, two branches wrapping around his torso and stopping him mid-pursuit before attempting to pull him back.

Septimius used his mana to shoot chains of pure ice at the Splinter Fright, some wrapping around the branches and limbs while others went inside. All of the branches broke after a few moments of contact with the ice chains, however they grew back within moments, still coming toward him. The ice chains on the inside broke pieces of its lower abdomen where they hit, snapping them. However, the chains were eventually destroyed by the small branches inside of it that slowly cut through them until they broke apart. The limbs of his lower abdomen too regrew.

As for Otael, the branch he pulled against simply broke from somewhere in his sleeves, leaving him with a lengthy branch being pulled to him. The Splinter Fright was not letting up.

Marcus couldn't help but chuckle as the tree grabbed him. "Looks like I'll get the firewood first!" Before the tree pulled Marcus in he managed to get a sincere wave off to Liss.

The branches tried pulling Marcus back, but what the tree did not take into consideration was that Marcus was a master at leg day. He never skipped leg day, not even if there was a fire. He reached back with his free hand and clutched the branches extending from his waist to the tree monster, and began a heavy strut after the alpha. Sure Marcus could just use his sword to free himself from the fag, but he thought it would be harder for the tree monster to focus with so much of his body being spread out. Marcus continued to truck on, like an ice road trucker down the slippery slope mountains of northern Alaska, giggling the entire time.

Gabriel had his weapon drawn the second that he had seen the tree-beast. He sensed more than saw the projectile flying straight towards him, and he brought Justice up quickly to deflect it away.

And then there was the werewolf. In the presence of such a creature, his weapon and his armor began to softly glow with holy light. Werewolves were not as susceptible to holy weapons such as vampires were, but it would still be better than regular steel. Looking to his left and to his right, Gabriel prepared to protect or to attack with the first person who he saw needed his help.

The branch snapped in half. This proved one thing to Otael, that this thing can break. Otael quickly put his hook back away and hunkered down as he charged straight for the creature. If he got close enough he would try his hardest to tear the creature in half.

"Trust me I can see more things than most of my companions" she said as she continued her way forwards, noticing the attack in front and behind of her, Jessica speeded up and waited for the branches to get even closer, then she stabed her sword onto the ground using her own speed Jessica grabed the handle and lift her feet from the ground allowing her to turn in 90° attempting to dodge both attacks "These puny branches won't be enough to stop me you stupid witch"

"Son of a!" Blades of ice mana grew over the staff's wings and he spun the double sided spear to slice away the incoming branches, freezing the stumps as to slow down regeneration. Otael assisted him and grabbed the tree monster, dragging it towards himself. It's regenerating too fast, I have to take it out in one blow... but with what? Fire magic? No! He shook his head, never again would he use fire magic, the vision of vampiric Reana reappearing from his subconscious terrified him. He groaned as he realized what he had to do. "I hate using magic out of my sect." He backed away as to give himself room and to avoid the attention of others. I hope Otael can hold it off long enough. He spun his staff and stabbed it into the ground. He began pumping mana into the gems and they glowed blue, "I am the judge, the arbiter, my words is law. And I sentence you to the ultimate prison. Freeze in its embrace and suffer for eternity. Binding spell: Sub-Zero Glacier!" The gems glowed white but he felt a shock through his body as he built up the mana. He grit his teeth and focused on keeping his mana under check. If he casted it now it would simply end up in an explosion, he needed more time.

As they found Liss, it appears that she's in the middle of fighting a anthropomorphic tree, along with an enchantress and her gigantic minion. Rushing in to help, he uses whatever bird he could summon from his hat and enlarged it to combat the Splinter. What he summoned was a woodpecker, and maximized it to confront the tree being. Its sharp beak repeatedly struck the monstrosity, breaking off any branches that hangs from it.
