The group started sloshing against the running water, Marcus at the forefront and turning a corner only to be met with another corridor. Septimius' provided a mana-fueled light that illuminated the rest of them, and it seemed that the feathers and their weaponry had been left virtually intact. After a moment, they listened in silence, to hear small noises. Small thumps, and a horribly faint sound of branches snapping.

She just got angrier with his words, and steped closer to him as he was still talking. As soon as he finished she took him tightly by his arm and said "Do you think that I don't want to find her?, that I'm not worried?! I know she's around here but putting yourself and all of us in danger" she tightened her grip on him and suddenly her voice tone got softer "Don't let your emotions interfer with your actions... I-... I've pais a high price for that in the past already... please... calm down" sje said the last sentence looking up at him feeling how her eyes made contact with his.

Hearing the small sounds around them, at least now they knew where to go "Let's do his toghether..."

Marcus stopped to listen to Jessica's words, but his anger was overwhelming. He was losing sight of the man he wanted to be, the man that Earth was turning him into. Her words didn't affect him, as he slid his arm from her and said, "You don't understand". He turned and began to walk away until Marcus heard the faint noise of branches snapping, which reminded him of the flowers Liss would carry around with her. "Liss?" He turned towards where the snapping was coming from and began shuffling in the direction of the branches. The pain he was feeling began to grow much more, and after realizing that her safety was worth more than his, Marcus allowed his armor to burst from his body in a glow of golden light. It was the memory of the moment the two had shared together that gave him the strength to persevere. The dark cloud of hate and rage began to fade from his mind as he felt more tuned to his surroundings. He felt stronger than ever as he began to run throughout the sewer. "Marki is coming for his Liss!"

"He is not himself, Jessica." Gabriel said sadly as Marcus began to sprint away. "I don't know what's overcome him. But even though every part of me wants to help him and make Marcus see how dangerous what he's doing is, we must remain careful. Chasing blindly after him may end with us all getting hurt, just like what got us down here in the first place."

Looking up to the light that his brother had summoned, he turned from that and into the faces of his companions. "We can either run blindly into danger or make our way forward carefully. The choice is yours."

She was going to follow Marcus until Gabriel stopped her.... he was right, but what really hurt her was that she understood exactly how Marcus felt. In fact it reminded her of herself a few years ago, "I do understand Marcus...." she thought to herself as she turned to Gabriel and the others "Alright... I don't see an 'exit' anywhere, but we should follow he noises whether is Lissette or not it means we're in the right way, pay attention if any of you see... eh... or smell Adric" the last part aimed at Ravin.

She withdrew her sword and said "Let's stick toghether and move forwards, their numbers won't matter as long as we keep a defensive formation". And so, she began to follow Marcus moving a bit faster than walking, deeply worried for his safety.

Ravin had been silently following this whole time. Nothing seemed right, nothing seemed normal. Starting, for instance, with how the sewers seemed rather clean. That was strange thing number one. Number two was Marcus' erratic behavior. Something about Liss' disappearance had upset him greatly, and the littlest things set him off.
"Curiouser and curiouser" he muttered.
He snapped back when Jess mentioned smelling out Adric
"Ah, yes! I will not lie to you here, but my time before now had been preoccupied trying to smell anything remotely sewer-like. I will start tracking him posthaste"

Desmond rubbed his head as he followed the party. Not even Ghan remembrred the sudden blackout. The stitcher wore the goggles, allowing his sight to see through the dark, and unsheathed his sword. Things were unsafe in the sewers.

His master always did tell him to avoid them.

Otael awoke abruptly. Thankfully whatever had knocked out had wore off with enough time to stop his heavy head to choke him to death. He quickly threw himself up, gasping for air as his vision was blurred. While the rest of the group was shouting he tried to regain his awareness, and he panicked as he frantically searched his body. His hook was still wrapped around his body, and fluffy was paddling around in the dark sewage water. Otael quickly swept her up and placed her on his shoulder. He picked himself up off the ground and followed the rest of the group mindlessly.

They began to make their way toward the source of the twisting branches and thumps, and as they gradually got louder, they eventually made it to a corner that likely led to the source. Marcus, still ready to find her, goes to yell before his mouth is covered by the one and only Adric. His clothes were dirtied and his face was a mess.

"You can't just rush in there. I've been observing for a while now," He said sternly, before turning back, "Based on the voices, there is a woman, some guy, and...something else."

He then blinked, and as everyone looked around the corner, they saw a large hole in the wall. It seemed to lead to a room, however it was simply too dark for them to see anything. The next thing they saw was Lissete being thrust backward out of the hole and onto the ground. Cuts and bruises riddled her body, along with the marks of a whip and dripping blood. They watched as a large, sharpened branch made its way down in an attempt to kill her.

OOC: Boomerang, my goggles should allow Desmond to see through that darkness.

Desmond moves in closer to see gaze through the hole and Ghan rushing forward to grab Lissette.

Aa they kept walking the were getting closer to the source of the noise, when they reached it Jessica heard a strong impact and sometjing came out from the room where the noise was created towards them, Jessica withdrew her sword but it took her only 1 second to realise that it was Lissette. Not sure how bad was she injured she said quickly "Gabriel heal Lissette up!, we'll handle that thing" she then sprinted forwards as fast as possible with her sword ready to slash or block any incomming attack from the room

Lissette was caught off guard from how fast the tree beast thing had been, and was literally back slapped so hard that she jettisoned out of the room so fast that she hit the wall on the other side of the sewer knocked out completely. For Liss she was inside of her brain once again, except the monstrocity that was herself was so large it loomed over her with the biggest shit eating grin she's ever seen. "W-what happened."

The figure grabbed the small green eyed Lissette by the leg, not even allowing her to seal a contract, the vicious evil had picked her up and flung her tiny frame directly into her entirely razor toothed mouth swallowing the woman whole. What seemed like minutes in her mind it was a matter of seconds before the pigments on her skin shifted to an inverted color of herself, almost chameleon like her hair even shifted into a dark raven black. The branch had rushed to her heart from the room as she grabbed the wood with her hand, she was merely just slammed against the wall. Her bright red eyes stared at the monster as she hoisted herself onto the limb and crawled very abnormally up its arm until she was back into the room. Gripping its face with the force of a car compressor she tightened harder and harder whispering things into its face as fungus and moss began appearing where her body was, it spread out farther and farther as if it was trying to devour the wood monster.
