"Alright, good night Tr- ... bro!" She said to him and waved. Jessica stood near him and Septimius also paying attention to the rest of the group and her surroundings, she sighed deeply "Ah... Troy, I miss you brother... I'll find out what really happened and take this burden off my shoulders once and for all... I promise to you, our family will recover the honor that my dad loved so much...", she frowned at her own statement. Jessica thought that honor was a stupid thing, but her dad and family cared a lot about it and specially her dad who worked his whole life to achieve the position where her family was until it all went to hell. As a sort of tribute for him, she'd avenge her family... but first she needs the answers. And in order to get to the demon they'll need the last feather... "I'm going for you Tibalt... I'm stronger than before now, I can and will defeat you" she tightened her fists and waited for the night to pass.

Septimius had been feigning sleep waiting for the others to go to sleep. He had found the alluring scent that had been taunting him the whole time. He peeked over to Jessica but noticed that she was still awake, but Desmond was asleep which made his job slightly easier. He just needed Jessica to go to sleep as well. He began whistling and mixing mana into it, creating a simple sleeping spell that he cast towards Jessica.

She enjoyed the silent night, until she heard a whistling comming from Septimius she smiled as she turned her head to him. The same magic that he did for her to see... it was beautiful "Septimius that's really ni-...." she frowned as she shook her head "What is this?... why am I feeling all dizzy?..." she thought as she tried to stand up but she tumbled in the middle of her action "Septimius...what are you...." Jessica tried to fight against the mysterious spell why was he doing that to her?, what's wrong? She wondered but she soon fell to the ground completly asleep.

Septimius sighed in relief, it wasn't that he was unsure the illusion magic wouldn't work, he knew it would, because he knew what he had become. He got up and walked over to the blind swordwoman. He had been curious why his head had hurt and why he was thirsty, but his question was answered when he had hugged Jessica back in Ravenholt. Nikita must have bitten him and turned him into a monster. He opened his mouth and felt two fangs slice out of his gums and he licked them. He crouched next to Jessica's sleeping body and softly grab her by the chin, tilting her head back and up as to expose her neck. The scent wafted towards him again and he felt saliva pool in his mouth and he gulped. Increased regeneration, stronger illusion magic, and a thirst for blood, he was a vampire now... and he had selected his first prey.
He didn't know why he found Jessica's scent the most alluring, maybe it was because she was the closest to him besides his brother. It was terribly easy and it excited him, she was simply sleeping and all he had to do was bit down on her neck and he'd be able to drink his fill. The problem was, he knew what he wanted, and he knew how to get it, but he just couldn't imagine doing it. Jessica had saved his life numerous times and had comforted him during his time of need. He knew that by biting her in the neck, not only was there a chance for him to kill her, but also a chance to change her. Maybe he should do that, turn her into a vampire alongside him. No, she resents monsters so much there's a chance that she would kill herself if she found out she had become a monster. But he was so thirsty, so resolved, his hand shifted to hold her head up, he opened his mouth, and bit down. Her blood flooded into his mouth and he could describe it as sweet spiced wine, warm and slick. He felt it flow down his throat and sooth the raging thirst that had pestered him for so long. Unlatching from her neck, he drew back and stared at the scene he had created. His headache and thirst vanished thanks to the blood he had ingested and he stared at what he had done as he was no longer guided by his hunger. "What have I done?" He murmured, blood was flowing down her wound, pooling and streaming off his hand which was supporting her head up. He quickly used fire magic and cauterized the wound shut. Septimius wiped the blood off her neck and stared at the two puncture marks on her throat, scarred in forever. He listened to her shallow breathing and was glad he was able to stop before he had killed her.
He quickly got up and stared with horror and disgust at the blood that stained his hand, testimony to the sin he had just committed. He quickly wiped the blood on the ground and he made plans to leave. He pulled a piece of parchment out and began quickly writing on it using his own magic. Finished, he folded the letter up and dropped it on the ground before dissolving into the shadows of the trees.
When everyone woke up and opened the letter, they'd hear his voice telling them.
"I will always cherish and remember fondly all my memories I have had with all of you. Traveling with everyone was an honor I will not forget. However... complications had arisen that had shown it impossible for me to continue traveling with you. Where I will end up on my solo travels I do not know but please do not look for me and continue on your mission to save the world, Tarenborge is your final destination and I do not want you to waste time searching for me, as is why I took this head start. Now I hope we never run into each other again for next time you see me, I do not believe I'll be the same as you remember. So godspeed, please save my brother and this world.

((Is no one reading my posts? Liss is still awake. Fuck. Should I care?))

Ooc: Yes ik, but I doubt Septimius noticed. Tunnel vision on drinking Jessica's blood and all.

Quote from BoomerangReturnsOOC: Grimm, I'm beginning to become confused about your abilities. In three posts you created a decoy of shadow, called upon a horse that has only been seen once (Although i'm okay with that), and now the passive shadow is able to look around like a bird and gain info. I thought that the shadow would stay relatively near you.
They continued on their journey outward, eventually deciding that they would take the rest of the journey on foot. They all jumped off from the birds and they dissipated back into their natural form, obviously glad to not have the people on their backs any longer. They were getting closer to Tarenborge, and it was very late afternoon. The sun would be going down soon.
OOC: Apologies for the confusion. The decoy is a result of direct manipulation of his shadow and shadows connected to it. It can't speak when in an unnatural form, nor does it stray too far from him without direct manipulation. Being immaterial, his shadow can levitate on its own. It did not float more than 15 feet above his head, which would account for slightly hilly terrain. The horse is to increase his mobility (Allowing him to keep up with the mobility powers of his comrades) and reinforce his knightly origins. Are these acceptable explanations?

"What a stupid letter." Liss was hanging upside down from the tree limb and looking at the note. Sitting upright she sighed. "You people treat others like they're bat shit crazy for eating the blood of another." Pointing to herself with a highly sarcastic smile made her throw the letter to the ground before she swung herself off the limb and slammed her boots directly onto the piece of paper. "So what if he craves the blood of humans. Are we all just now going to treat this like it's bad? Like he's some monster out of a horror movie?" Looking at her team she rested her eyes on the blind woman. "Everyone is so caught up in other things they aren't aware of their surroundings. I was awake. All night. Like I said I would be, and apparently the noob vampire hadn't thought anything about me." Shrugging Liss rolled her eyes and frowned. "I saw him bite you Jessica. I even got your blood on my face. I see why he bit you, but I digress." Looking down she sighed. "Septi is just scared of his new powers and should not be looked down upon because of them. Just because he is a creature of the night does not mean his intentions have changed. He's being rash." Looking back up at the stitcher and even the liche. "We are all monsters in a way. Whether we eat flesh, or use it to make more monsters, or slay them because some inccubus ass dragon wants to take Gabriel to his fun dungeon and play with our feelings." Liss hated talking this much but she needed to make a point. "If Septimius thinks he's just gonna walk away because he thinks he's a bad person, he's wrong. We make mistakes with impulses and we should not hurt him by any means if he somehow gets a bug up his bum." Liss took her boot finally off the ruined letter. "He has good intentions."

Jessica slowly woke up feeling a bit dizzy along with a terrible pain on her neck. She slowly stood up and placed her hand on her neck only to find 2 clear pointy scars, she started to remember what had happened as Lissette started to talk, her eyes widened as she came to the realisation "Septimius... drank my blood?... he's a vampire now?...". She thought on standing up and go after him at once but then she realised that he has bite HER... she started to think, will she turn into a vampire? "No no no no... that can't be, I can't... I don't want to." she tought as she slowly pressed her back against a tree trying to stay awake from her group. Maybe she won't turn... maybe she will, she doesn't know what will happen and she started to freak out. Flashbacks from her past killing her brother started to come back to her mind, the last thing she wants to do is to hurt one of her friends "Stay back!" she said yelling at them as Jessica kept holding her neck. Confused and nervous she withdrew her sword "I don't want to hurt any of my friends.... I don't want to... I WON'T do it, I won't let it happen", she then took her sword with shaky hands and aimed at her own throat. If she were to feel any signs of becoming a vampire she'd definetly end with her own life. Jessica does rather to die as a human than living as a vampire, "Please don't change Jess..." she told to herself waiting for a sign. Hopefully Septimius just suck her blood and she won't turn into a vampire... hopefully...

Liss turned to the woman enraged. "Oh shut up!" Walking rather angrily she grabbed the blade of her sword and lowered it glaring at the woman right into the eyes as they seemed to darken. "Even if you do turn into one Jessica... It is not the end of the world. What if Gabriel is alive and we have to save him and tell him that you killed yourself." Tilting her head she frowned. "You are not going to hurt anyone. You yourself saw those other vampires. Very civil. I will not promise you being human, but what if it makes you better, what if you can see? Think of the positives Jess."

OOC: Amazing how far Lissette has come in speaking the tongue of man. When we first met her all she could say were little less than bits and pieces, then she was able to listen and imitate others, and now... *sniff and wipe tears* She has grown so much lol.

OOC: I know right *snifs* ;w;
Her breathing was quite heavy and Lissette approached at her she was quite nervous. Liss pushed her sword away from her and listened to her words, her eyes got glassy and ven started to tear up as she replied "Liss... I don't care if I have to live the rest of my life blind, I don't want to be one of those things. I already hurt someone I cared for in the past and I'm not risking it to let it happen again... I don't want to... I can't...." she looked down to the ground pressing her body against the tree on her back as a tear rolled down her face.

((Awww tanks .3 .))
Liss frowned a little disheartened by the woman's tears. "Jess." Kneeling to the woman Liss placed her hand on the blind woman's arm. "I was born a monster. I can not change who I am. And I don't want to, but I bit Marcus. I hurt him really bad, and you know what? It sounds... Odd... But... Love triumphs hate. Just like with Septi, we will not hate you, even if you hurt us." Liss cracked a small smile. "You've put up with me mostly because I suppress my demon. If you can do that, you won't hurt anyone. I can even help you. You've been too much and these emotions are going to make you unpredictable. You wanna fight some vampires and not be looked at like a 5 star steak? Well. Now you can." Liss stood up and held her hand down to the woman. "Get up. We have some friends to find and some feathers to recover."

Lissette was right... maybe she won't even turn into a vampire, she simply assumed the worst out of the panic she was feeling. She couldn't help it, Jessica took Lissette's hand and stood up, immediately afterwards she huged the girl as tight as she could without hurting her and started to cry, not for something in specific.... for everything actually, she was having a really hard time dealing with all her feelings, trying to pull things toghether but as soon as she finally recovered from one thing... another one happened. She said to her in a shaky voice "I'm so worried.... about everything, about Gabriel about Septimius about all of you."

While Desmond slept, Ghan watched. He was ready to jump in and nab the sword from Jessica's hands if Lissette did not intervene in time. The stitched companion tilted his head at every word the horned one said.
Monsters, It reflected. We are all monsters in a way.
