OOC: Just making it clear for people who don't go to IRC a lot that Aquila has complete control of this boss battle, unless he suddenly becomes insanely OP, when in which I will step in. To clarify on his post, Ahriman has been impaled by a horribly large amount of ice spikes, and I'm pretty sure it might have hit his soul stone. Idk how someone could find a way around that without being OP themself.

But anyway, I'll be stepping back and letting Aquila do the work. Good luck.

"This magic..." Desmond muttered as he brought out his blade. A few seconds later, Ahriman's body convulsed as the liche-knight is impaled by branches of frost. "Ahriman!"

The stitcher approached, careful not to pierce himself, and brought out his arcane flamethrower. He began to melt the ice just below Ahriman. Desmond's eyes fluttered to his sides as his allies readied themselves for yet another battle.

Jessica's eyes widened as she heard a familiar voice "Septimius..." she turned, and then suddenly ice soldiers appeared all around them, "I can't hurt my best friend... I... I just can't.." she thought as she felt Septimius' intentions to kill the whole party. Will they actually have to fight him to death?, or is there another way out of this situation?.

She snaped out of her thougts as she saw Desmond running to the impaled Ahriman "Desmond wait!!!" She yelled at him as the ice creatures were getting closer and closer, she withdrew her sword and using one arm she slashed one of the soldiers standing between her and Desmond and made her way to him "Stay back!! It's too dangerous!!!" She yelled at him deeply worried.

Desmond looked over his shoulder as he continued but immediately went back to check the flame. He gazed up towards Ahriman and stepped back. The electrical sword he had on hand should be able to break this.

"We need Ahriman out of this, sis," he said. "We need every hand on the battle and we can't lose another...not another."

"Septimius you say?" Ravin shot up, and clapped his hands together. "Ah! Septimius! You have returned! Good to see you! Or not. You seem to be hiding a fair bit in shadows and the like. And seem to be a fair bit more homicidal. Normally I'd admire that quality. Normally. But you? No, no, no. Mainly because I'm on the receiving end of this anger, but also it could be that your an angry young brat who thrashed out. No form, no style. Just fury."

Grabbing Cerulean, he thrust it through a skeleton.

"You've mad new friends! Good! A bit more cold than I would've liked, but nonetheless. Our last conversation was less than decent, I'll admit, you running off like a loon and all. But I'm willing to look past that, for I am nothing if not merciful "

OOC: Actually, there are two ways around that with physics. Spikes do piercing damage, which is highly ineffective against round objects, and ice lacks the crystal density to pierce the soulstone. I'd like to think starting a fight with an unwarranted insta-kill is frowned upon. Though I suppose trying to kill Ahriman is half the fun.

Ahriman gasps as he suffers massive impalement. If it hadn't been ice, he would be far worse off. It would also have been three times more painful, as his wounds wouldn't be numbed in the slightest. But he knew this magic. Someone who was once an ally had just betrayed him, and Ahriman was furious. It wasn't because Septimus was the attacker, but because the man had let himself become a monster The liche-knight formed his shadow into a mace. A big one. With spikes. He than focused on smashing the ice to free himself.

OOC: Not like there's another way to kill you grimm. Even if we rip off apart your limbs you'd still be alive so the only attemot that anyone can try at killing you is aiming at your stone or whatever is called. Should've thought in a way to make your character a bit more weak to normal attacks.... And how the hell can't a spike pierce that thing? Just because is a round object? Seriously? Couldn't you think in a more valid excuse at least?

Marcus took a deep breath as the incantations were cast, impaling Ahriman and wounding him severely. "Septimius, you know our cause. If you stand in our way I won't hesitate to strike you down." The angel didn't pull his sword out, instead he stood still as his allies were fighting against the frost skeletons, or trying to free Ahriman.

The sky began to boom and flash as Marcus placed his hand on the handle of his sword, waiting for Septimius' response.

Edit OOC: Yeah a needle can pierce a marble. I read it under the impression your entire body had been practically destroyed. I mean, the topic in IRC is "RIP Ahriman(?) | Stage II begins"

Jessica heard Marcus speak to Septimius... will he attack him?. A burst of adrenaline ran through her body and she felt a sting pain on the marks of her neck for the fraction of a second. She doesn't know what to do... even tho Septimius left them... he was still her best friend. Jessica's first reaction was to yell at the angel "Marcus don't hurt him!!" She said in a worried tone, but what else can they do? would he listen to their words if they try to talk?.

Jessica's hand shook at the thought of having to hurt the mage

OOC: A needle is usually made of metal, which is quite a lot stronger than ice on the molecular level. It's easier to crush a marble with a hammer than it is to stab it. Ahriman can put himself back together as long as his soulstone is intact, but it takes far more time if limbs are severed or burnt. Arch, I am literally unable to use IRC on my ps3. Also, Camila, i never said it was impossible because it was round, but the combination of that and that ice is not as hard as stone should be enough for him to survive. Fire is his natural weakness, being undead.

Ooc: I mean you're getting into physics in a fantasy role play with angels and demons and blind women being Jackie chan. I'm just saying not everything is going to make sense but hey, that's what we're here for.

OOC: I am resorting to physics because it is the only viable option known to me. Unless I misread Boomy's post, the only way I can explain Ahriman's survival is with common sense. I am attempting to do so, as the ability to recover from grievous wounds (although some attacks are more effective than others) is the hallmark of the design.

OOC: My good friend, you are insinuating ice is simply ice while the use of mana is involved. I personally see magical ice to be stronger than normal ice. I am also curious how strong your soulstone is.

Everything was eerily silent except for the shambling of the skeletons. The skeleton stabbed by Ravin ignored the attack and continued to shamble forward, swinging its sword at Ravin. The ones destroyed by Jessica reassembled themselves to continue fighting, however their actions were all hidden by the heavy fog. Septimius moved unnoticed, his footsteps and the shift of his clothing were masked by the sound of skeletons. He dashed forward and aimed for Desmond, who was helping Ahriman clear off the icicles. He grabbed him and separated him from the rest of the group. smashing him into the wall, "Hello Desmond, been a while." A white mask covered his face, blank of any design. He left the boy stunned as he dissolved back into the mist, determined on making it all a hit and run situation. The impact made Desmond drop his sword, and made him vulnerable to the incoming skeletons.

More incantation circles glowed in the fog, this time colored red, and the sound of clinking could be heard, weapons covered in fire floated in the air. "You can not strike down what you cannot see Marcus." Septimius' voice bounced around, set on simply waiting for a chance to strike.

Jessica blocked in comming attacks from the skeleton's comming, "So these things can come back?... plan B I guess" after she blocked a few attacks from one of the ice soldiers, she released the charge accumulated into a big hot wave towards the ice soldier hoping that it'd bring him down. Tho when she finished her attack, she felt how someone sneaked behind Desmond, she turned quickly but it was too late. The mage had already threw him back into a wall "Septimius stop!!!" She yelled at him as he left his position to go towards Marcus.

She noticed that he had droped his sword and multiple enemies were going towards him, she only had one arm to use to fight (unless the situation really needs her to use both), but for now she only cared about her "brother's" safety. She ran towards him and jumped above of the skeleton's to position herself between them and Desmond, she slashed at them in order to keep them away from him until he can get up again "Desmond!, I told you it was dangerous, can you get up?" She yelled at him worried and a bit angry at the same time because of how he ignored her advices... just like she used to do with her brother...

OOC: Apparently no one understands how icicles work. People DIE from ice crashing through their SKULLS which is ROUND, if you haven't noticed. Don't you dare bring 'common sense' into the argument (OR A FANTASY ROLE PLAY FOR THAT MATTER) for the sake of your character that can't die unless it's punctured by a certain metal at a certain temperature only on a Wednesday with a blue moon at 8:33pm with one leg up while balancing a glass of 2% chocolate milk with a piece of spaghetti hanging from your left nostril. Sarcasm? Yes. Your character is pretty over powered. And wasn't viewed as such until you practically evaded every attack other than an "Insta-death". Get. A. GRIP. Don't be DENSE.

Standing, Lissette put the wicker hat on her head and held the small fox close to herself. Liss could not fight with her wounded leg and nose as she scratched the Fox's neck, loving on him. "Samson. I will not allow anything to happen to you or the bird egg, let alone Marcus. If I am to be injured any more, I need you to take the hat to safety." Looking down at the fox she was gently holding she smiled. "You are quite handsome though." Putting Samson down she looked at Septimius attempting to slaughter the liche knight as she sighed. She couldn't do much to help, but her white hair was slipping into it's black and wet looking state. She knew if she was going to help the hat was just going to fly off her head, so she bent down and placed it onto Samsons head. "Don't lose this hat. Also. I refuse to let you fight, you might be a magical fox, but you are still a fox. Septimius is very strong and I refuse to have you give your all to him. Save it." Looking around she realized fog had come in and Liss sighed. "Septimius. What exactly are you trying to accomplish?"
