MArcus looked at the librarian and thanked her dearly, "I think the number is a sign for me. I won't be needing anything else, thank you!"
And with that he walked back to the cemetery with Lissette on his shoulders.

"Ra- Ravin... don't go... stay toghether..." was the only and last thing she could say before lying her her on Adric again. The only thing worrying her now was to stay conscious she already gave up on trying to move her limbs or body, groans of pain were the only thing that she could say and her skin was getting paler. She was a mere ragdoll at the moment "I must stay awake... if I pass out I'm not sure I can wake up again..." the pain on her whole body was at least helping her to stay awake.

Samson plodded along next to Ravin, uncannily happy. He hummed a tune and did a small dance with his paws as he walked. He looked up at Ravin and began talking, quite a bit. "So Ravin pal! What are we gonna do when we find em? Teauh em limb from limb? Light em on fiuh!?" Samson began hopping excitedly up and down "Oooo! Ooooo! We could do both! tear em apart, den light da bits on fiuh!" Samson continued wheeling around Ravin's feet, singing happy tune.
Adric returned to the cemetery and laid Jessica at the base of a tree. She was wounded. Badly. Adric produced a few rags and a vial. He used the contents to clean the small wounds on her arms and legs. He noticed the area around her shoulder blade was distorted and bruised. Dislocated. Adric gave her a sip of some strong ale. It would hopefully keep her comfrotably numb during the procedure. He supported her back further against the tree. He grabbed her arm with his right and was about to pull when he heard the whirrings begin. He decided against it and used his left arm instead. He pushed against her with his leg and pulled with his arm until he heard the "pop" of the shoulder going back in its socket. Adric turned to his comrades nearby and called to them. "She's in a bad state. Help clean the wounds while I set her arm". He broke off the tip of a bolt and grabbed a rope from his bag, and began wrapping it around her arm to act as a splint

Aside from a broken arm her shoulder was also dislocated. Jessica didn't think it'd hurt as much until Adric put her shoulder back into place she screamed in pain because of the action, maybe too loud... however she had hopes that the pain will soon be over, and when she recovers after getting the feather from Ravenholt she's gonna find the vampires who did this to her and with the help of her friends rip them apart, if they wanted to that is... at least she could count with Ravin and Adric.

Desmond was getting irritated. Every stop seemed to halt their advances for thr book's opening. Ghan trailed behind the trio as itkept their backs safe.
"Is there a way to force it open?" The stitcher suggested irritably.

"Well, Samson, we have many options at our disposal. We can stab them, slash them, shoot them with arrows, throw spikes at them, force feed them caltrops, stake them, poison them, stake them with poisoned stakes, poison our arrows, poison just about EVERYTHING really, tear their jaw off, split them navel to nose, as previously stated, tear them asunder, hang them upside down and bleed them dry, provided of course, we have room and rope, blind them and send them stumbling into a river (I'm sure Lady Jessica would appreciate that one), use our various claws to give them a lesson on their inner workings, tear out their fangs, leave them strung up till morning, shove garlic in their mouth, break their neck, cleave their neck, return what they did to Jessica ten-fold, eat them alive, find their families, and kill them in all the listed reasons in front of them. A good old fashioned mauling never hurt either"

"Oh, Jessica..." Gabriel said, coming up to her form on the ground, leaving his post at the door. The others had left her already, and for now it was just the two of them. "I'm sorry I couldn't fight with you. There have been some dark, dark things on my mind that I must figure out within myself first. But I can still do this for you."
Kneeling down, the tired paladin placed his palms on Jessica's wounds and hurts, and once again the power of the angels flowed from within himself, to her.
He wouldn't let up until she was as good as new.

She could barely sense things around her, but a certain voice made her pay attention. It was the person she wanted to see she managed to smile slightly "Gabriel... thank you..." were the only words she said before passing out. Hopefully once she wakes up she'll be able to fight normally again, for now she needed to rest and recover some energies.

Samson continued singing when he felt a chill go up his spine. His life was in danger, he could very likely die at the hand of the creature that was fast approaching. Samson whipped around and lunged at the new presence. Adric grabbed him in mid-air and shook his head, disappointed. "Samson, when I thought you finally killed me, you would have a bit more fan-fare" Adric put Samson down and began singing where he left off.

OOC: Boomy you clever S.O.B. I have a book on secret codes and that grave list screams "Look at me, I'm a cipher!"
Ahriman, thinking about the numbered graves, suddenly had a breakthrough while reading a book on the Thieve's Guild. "AHA!" he exclaimed. "There are 26 grave stones, and none of the names listed began with the same letter. I think I have an answer!" He excitedly rushes out of the library towards the cemetary. As he shoots past Septimus he comically shouts "I ARE SMART!" Upon reaching the graveyard, he shouts "Who found more numbers during your search and in what order did you find them? Each one is tied to a letter, and each of the headstones is a different letter! Wait, where are Otael and the Minister? They may have found numbers too."

As he strolled back towards the cemetery, mulling over the fact he hadn't found any clues, he heard a scream. It was a girl's and so was either Lissette or Jessica. He broke into a run as he neared the graveyard and was met by the sight of a yellowish-white glow. His brother was healing someone, but what happened? He walked up carefully and saw his brother, knelt besides Jessica who was ragged and beaten up, blood all over her clothing and multiple visible wounds that were slowly patching themselves up. "What happened?" He asked his brother, "Will she be okay?" He then noticed the sweat on his brother's forehead and realized how much his brother was focusing on trying to save the woman he loved so he decided to stop badgering him with questions and to leave him alone, he'd get the answers later.
He looked around but didn't see Marcus or Lissette. "Hey Adric," He called, "did you see Marcus? I lent him something for safe keeping." He then saw Marcus approaching with the book in his hands but no chains were wrapped around it. "What the?" He approached the angel, "How did you get it to open? What does it say?" His voice and eyes couldn't hide his excitement and anticipation.
